Supplements - Dangerous, Essential or Useless?
Wizard recently made an interesting post on the "drive to minimize supplementation" that I wanted to respond to in-depth. The post: https://healthunlocked.com/pasoc/posts/150006558/the-drive-to-reduce-minimize-supplementation I decided a long form response would be better, thus my separate post here.

High ferritin results
Hi 👋 Latest results attached I have been on a stable dose of 1.5 grains of Armour Thyroid daily, for a couple of years now, prescribed by a private thyroid doctor. The NHS didn't want to treat my borderline low thyroid. I feel good, and have no symptoms, but I am concerned about my high ferritin

"Your thyroid's fine"...what do you think?
Hi. I've been told by a GP that my thyroid is fine. I don't think it is. I'd be grateful for your opinions. Like many others here, I'm fed up with Dr.s saying it's my age, the menopause, or there's nothing wrong. Medichecks results: May 23 Thyroglobulin Antibodies: 423.000 kIU/L (Range: <115

can thyroid disease cause sore throat, throast discomfort and tension in neck/face?
I've had a feeling of a lump in my throat for 4 months now. This has been followed by muscular tensing in my neck and face on the left side, sore throats and an uncomfortabe feeling of fullness in my throat that is present all the time. I also have numbness/lack of sensitivity in my arms, legs and face

Confused about latest blood tests - why are FT4 and FT3 rising, but I still feel awful and I'm undiagnosed and not on any meds?
Sorry for the super long post.... I would very much appreciate the help of you wonderful people on this forum. I am a bit confused with my latest blood test results that I just received yesterday, and am hoping that you will be able to help me understand what's going on. I'll try to keep it brief, while
