vitamin results and advice on tweaking or changing supplements

Advice on supplements please and please tell me if I’m over thinking or worrying about this.

I currently take: Better You Vit D with K2 / Thorne Basic B / Vegavero folate / Omega 3 fish oil / Magnesium / Zinc

I’ve had my results back from Medichecks and would like some advice on what I can do to further improve my levels

Ferritin 74 ( range 30 - 264) 19%

This has improved, as I was barely in range in Oct. This was when I added the folate back in and increased iron rich foods, don’t think there’s much wiggle room for more.

What else can I do to get this to nearer to ‘ideal’ ?

Folate 45.4 (no range)

TIBC 62 (range 45 - 81) 47%

UIBC 37 (range 13 - 56) 56%

Transferrin saturation 39 (range 25 - 45) 70%

B12 150 (range 37 - 188) 75%

Vitamin D 76 (range 50 - 250) 13%

I’m surprised my level isn’t higher & I checked out the Vit D calculator which suggests I’m taking the right amount.

Should I just add another pump of the Better You? Is there anything else I could do?

Thanks for reading and any advice!

Did you have Iron tested?

And curious with regards to the D calculator, did you do a loading dose in October after your last test?

hi FallingInReverse

Iron results are 24.5umo/l (range 10 - 30)

I didn’t do a loading dose in Oct, I may have missed some advice in my reading

I’m about a month from my next vitamin test after I did a D loading dose so I’ll be curious to see how it turns out!

Slowrunner1208 And regards to iron/ferritin - this might also help. Somewhat similar in that your iron is close to where it should be, but ferritin - like many of us - is low:
