Wondering if iron dose age should vary depending on weight please?
Hi I usually take Ferrous fumerate to help with iron levels. I’m wondering if this should vary depending on weight please as when I was ordering Three Arrows which is on its way, it asks for weight to work out a daily dose. Mine came to needing between 20 and 40ish a day. I’ve been & until it arrives

anemia but digestive issues (diarrhea)/multivitamins
Good evening everyone, I´m writing on behalf of my sister who is lactating now on her second year and has been suffering from diarrhea for the last two months. She has always had a tendency to it, but it seems to be aggravated. She is taking iron(liposmated) with vit C(ascorbic acid) because she has

any advice
hi sorry not been around in a while. Has anyone experienced this before - I’ve been told my iron is 2.2 dangerously low and then just left it at that. But my eye is slowly getting worse. Any advice would be great! Much love ❤️

Low red cell count but eat lots of red meat!
Hello again, just wanted to check this out with people as I do get quite tired in the afternoon and need to rest. Is this anaemia and so do I supplement with iron? Is there a good one for people with hashimotos?I have been told I have weak digestion and I feel I don't absorb things like iron very well

MY REMEDIES FOR MY RLS
I haven't been on this site very often in the past few months... work, life and other things going on but mostly because I finally settled in and started 100 mg of Gabapentin at night and this has helped tremendously. I know 300 mg is the start dosage but 100 mg takes care of 90% of my night symptoms

Iron and t4/t3 update
Thanks for everyone here for educating me, I have managed to get my iron levels to a higher levels they may have ever been! I'm so pleased and hopefully they'll continue going up. I have used the Heme iron recommended by many here. It's been one year since I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and I'm

Very low iron level - Advice regarding supplementation.
My father is dealing with 2nd BCR. His recent blood test shows extremely low iron levels which is putting his heart at great risk of giving out. He has not had low iron levels before at all. The cardiologist has prescribed supplementation, if that proves insufficient, the cardiologist will administer

Yet another night of writhing around, getting up, lying down, getting up , lying down - on and on and on it goes, I really feel like there is a monster inside me when this happens. Fell off the bed, hitting my coccyx, head and elbow. I don’t understand pregabalin- 3 nights of ok sleep then three nights

Need reassurance for upcoming fistula surgery
Hi! I am in CKD stage 5 and my last GFR was 13. Other than anemia, which I’ve been getting EPO injections and IV Iron for the past 1.5 years, and metabolic acidosis, I feel okay. My other electrolytes have been in the normal range so far. I am scheduled to get a Brachial Basilic fistula in my upper

Advice please- should I increase T3 a little now, as advised by prescriber or do bloods first?
Looking for some advice. I’m a few weeks into an increase of levo, back up to 100mcg from 75mcg. I was advised by my prescriber to do this and then to increase my T3 v slowly to get to 20mcg from my current 10mcg. I take both meds together overnight and don’t split my T3. The increase in levo has made

Hematoma and Ruxolitinib
Hi. I am looking for advice or reassurance. I am on Ruxolitinib and aspirin. I am also taking prescription iron tablets due to my haemaglobin being on the low side. My platelets and white cell count are the higher end of normal. In the past 3 days I have two hematomas in my hand out of nowhere.
