Really low FT4 but high FT3 (body flogging itself or low
iodine
?), very bizarre. Symptoms: tiredness, lack of stamina, breathlessness at times, insomnia at times, brain fog etc. I can see her folate and D are also very low. Thoughts?

Gingko Biloba - Supplement Advice
However, I've noticed it contains
iodine
(150ug), which I'd rather steer clear of. With that in mind, I'm contemplating trying the Solgar Ginkgo Vegetable Capsules, given Solgar's reputable standing.

RAI 5 years ago - new tightness
hi there - I had radioactive
iodine
to treat Graves over 5 years ago. At that time I would regularly experience tightness in my neck with mild pain ie thyroiditis.

Raised Thyroglobulin ab
I had a total thyroidectomy and radio
iodine
treatment in 2016 for Papillary Ca. I've been having annual monitoring since with no concerns. My most recent blood test shows normal thyroglobulin but raised thyroglobulin antibodies at 40. My latest is TSH 0.7 and T4 in normal range.

Tapioca in gluten free products/reduces iodine absorption?
On researching tapioca, seems it’s moved up the at risk list for latex allergy folk now, and discovered this about
iodine
. I’ve had
iodine
deficiency in past, so seems a bit ironic to be eating gluten free to help my thyroid, then eating a lot of tapioca into the bargain!

feels like relapse following CT scan with contrast
I had to have a heart CT scan and I asked about the
iodine
and risks. I was assured it was fine for me to have and it would flush through quickly. A week on I have A Fib, breathlessness sweats and feel like I have been run over by a bus.

GP wants to increase Levothyroxine.....
I don't like to question the GP but I think she has not read my notes and may not be aware of the
iodine
procedure back in 2012. Really appreciate any thoughts on this before I go back to the GP. P.S I also have COPD and take Anora, Ventolin, Multi Vitamins and Probio7

overwork factor?
theories i've heard that make sense to me include: stress, glyphosate,
iodine
, hormones in meat... and it occurs to me that maybe we are a bunch of overworkers.

warning re gastroscopy and gastrografin for ME/CFS sufferers . Plus neuropathy ?
You can get a ‘rare’ delayed reaction to Gastrografin, the
iodine
contrast medium. So that’s another thing to add to the long list of medicines I can’t tolerate. Then I went for the gastroscopy as my stomach seemed to be getting more swollen (maybe related to the gastrografin ? ) It was awful.
