Annual ranty post - I'm sorry in advance❤️
Welcome to my annual rant about this shitty condition. For the last 6-8 months, the pain I'd got so used to handling has skyrocketed tp the point that after a decade, I'm finally prescribed painkillers that aren't paracetamol or ibuprofen. Asked to be referred back to.my gynae at the beginning of November

Is anyone on implant with endo could you share your experience
Hi I was going to have a coil in after giving birth but after the ordeal I don't know if I can face the uncomfortable bit of it right now so was thinking of implant though I've not seen much literature on the implant and endo in the past before endo diagnosis I had it in as far as I remember no complaints

Hello, I have been reading this forum over the past couple of months and I have found it really helpful, it has made me realise how many people are struggling with fertility and how strong we can be when it comes to desperately wanting to be parents. Hi, I’m just reaching out to get some positive advice and stories! I’ve been going through fertility treatment for over a year now. I have had 4 failed IUI transfers, 1 full failed IVF cycle and I’m now onto my next IVF cycle. This journey has been the most emotional journey I’ve ever been through

How long does a jaydess coil last
I had the coil fitted on the 19th of may 2019 by a male nurse who didn’t fit coils on a regular basis. He was filling in for a doctor who had taken leave. He measured my cervix and told me it’s short and that I needed the jaydess coil as it was smaller. After I got it fitted he handed me a card with

Post Laparoscopic Surgery
Hi Everyone, I was diagnosed with widespread Endometriosis on the 19th January after a Laparoscopic surgery and having the affected areas ‘burned.’ I’m recovering okay, although I’m feeling extremely overwhelmed, lonely and emotional which I’m sure is normal. I wondered if anyone could offer advice

2nd IUI questions
Evening all, Following my IUI treatment during the 2 week wait, I ended up coming on my period day 14 post insemination (which was 6 days earlier than my calculated period date). However after speaking to a friend she said on her first cycle she came on her period early, and to counteract that the clinic

Pain after sex with IUD
Has anyone experienced pain/cramping after sex with Mirena IUD? I had it fitted in Oct ‘20 and bled (with extreme cramping) up until 24th Dec! Still having odd spotting most days, but after sex I am in agony in my lower abdomen. It’s not achey period-like cramps, but stabbing pains. After this happened

Converting from IVF to IUI or timed pregnancy
Hi everyone. Have had a scan today after being on stimulation drugs for 9 days. They have said today that only one follicle is mature and that if I take the drugs for a few more days their might be a maximum of three by Monday. Obviously this isn’t great (I had six follicles/six eggs last time and they

Has anyone else had problems with the coil to treat endometriosis?
Hello! I been at the gp with period problems since I was 12. I was just last week (finally) diagnosed with endometriosis and they stuck the coil in me for now until I can have a laparoscopy. Since they put it in I have not been able to work due to the pain- my bowels are bad, I have no colour in my face
