A skin rash

I have had itchy skin now for about 3/4 weeks and spots are starting to appear all over my body and getting worse and more itchy everyday. I am taking antihistamines and trying a cream the doctor gave for dry skin and they haven’t been working. I had an IUD fitted about 6 weeks ago could that be causing the rash? I also had tonsillitis about 3 weeks ago could it be a viral rash? The photo is a picture of the rash

It is very unlikely this is due to the coil. Have you had a new sexual contact recently ? Where did the rash start ?
