Pudendal neuralgia and contraception I'm wondering if any females with pudendal neuralgia have experienced pain with use of a copper coil. I cannot use tampax as I have figured out the pain is worsened. So I'm guessing a coil will ha e thasame effect. If anyone has had a coil and suffering with PN

A day of surprises
Hi all Yesterday I had the first face to face consultation since the pandemic. I must say I was wary of the reasons for this but went along anyway. The consultant reported that my blood tests results were unchanged and stable and the pegasys had reduced my spleen size by 0.7cm. He said that I am quite

Running and endometriosis
Hello I’ve recently been diagnosed with suspected endometriosis, and waiting for a coil to be fitted at the end of April. I’ve also recently taken up running (couch to 5k) and I absolutely love it, but I’m finding that I’m having period like pains while running which this evening became really severe

Question about going ahead with Laparoscopy
Hello everyone, I'm new here but glad to see so many others who have struggled with the same things I have. A bit of context, I am 26 and have had endo for about 18 months now -- It was really really horrible initially but I have the Kyleena coil now which has helped. The NHS have offered to wait list

Scared ultrasound will be normal and my pain will be dismissed
So after months of battling with my GP surgery for a referral, I finally spoke to a gynaecologist 2 weeks ago. She has said she wants to do a pelvic and abdominal ultrasound which is booked in for next week. However she mentioned in my appointment that because I don’t have pain during sex (however I

Copper coil expulsion- what do I do now?
My experience with the copper coil has been nothing but misery. I had it put in early January 2021 and I don’t think anything could have prepared me for the pain I experienced when it was put in, plus for at least 2 weeks after. It took my breath away and I almost fainted as they put it in. Then I spent

Has anyone any comparison IVF cycles without and then with DHEA?
Hello All, I’m just wondering if there are any ladies out there, with low AMH, who have had a failed IVF cycle(s) without taking DHEA. Then taken a course of DHEA prior to another IVF cycle and noticed a difference? If so, what were the differences. I took a course of micronised DHEA (6 months) after

The starts of it all
So I am currently trying to do my own research as the Dr told me to do. I had 2 years of thrush followed by a water infection followed by 2 more “water infections” which they just assumed was water infection as it was the same symptoms as my 1st one. My symptoms started off as sharp stabbing pains

Hi I had a copper coil fitted two weeks ago and I’m still getting bleeding - most of the time it’s not a lot but sometimes I think I’m starting my period and I’m not. Is this normal ? Thank you x

A fascinating podcast on the history and current state of stem cell regeneration.
Did you know humans make around 2 1/2 million red blood cells a second? Did you know the only the stem cell transplant that can currently be done is a bone marrow one? Did you know, at a guess, there have been something like 2 million bone marrow transplants to date. I came across this episode in the

Push for higher dose of menopur?
Hi all My first time posting :-) I'm 36 with low AMH (somewhere between 4.6-6 pmol/l, I have tested three times and had different results!). My first round of IVF was cancelled in February pre egg collection due to me ovulating unexpectedly (apparently this is really unusual and they don't really know

Morning Everyone, I was on here a lot last year when I was going through my 3 IUI tries. Sadly my last one ended in ectopic pregnancy which was pretty traumatizing as had to have quite hefty treatment to remove it. The drug we were given meant we are not allowed to conceive for 6 months as it can cause
