My curiosity is based on: Emerging Therapeutic Activity of Davallia formosana on Prostate Cancer Cells through Coordinated Blockade of Lipogenesis and Androgen Receptor Expression

mdpi.com/2072-6694/12/4/914...

Brief except from summary: "We further showed the potent therapeutic activity of DFE by repressing the growth and leading to apoptosis of subcutaneous C4-2 tumors in a xenograft mouse model. Conclusions: These data provide a new molecular basis of DFE in PCa cells, and co-targeting SREBP-1/FASN/lipogenesis and the AR axis by DFE could be employed as a novel and promising strategy for the treatment of PCa."

I am 12 years post RP, and post 6 years infusion with samarium-153 with IMRT with no known metastasis but with PSA trending upward now at 0.5. I have shifted to whole foods, plant based, with limited use of dairy (some cheese and ice cream) diet and lots of exercise (about 2 hours daily, walking and yoga). For the last two years I have been using IP-6 (30 grams daily).

I had not heard of this before, but my investigation reveals mixed results:

Other sources report similar inconclusive results.

Thanks! The article looks interesting. Who would have thought: sweet potato greens, better than spinach❗
