Nalcrom and Intal update
When I spoke with Sanofi recently they confirmed that we should expect Nalcrom to begin being available at wholesalers in the week commencing May 24, 2021. Intal, the inhaled version of sodium cromoglycate, should be available this week (May 10, 2021). Glad to report this progress.

Moved around
My husband has a new dialysis manager that’s very young and hasn’t been a manager for long. She has the center in an uproar by moving people around daily each treatment and changing the doctor’s prescription of medications on the machine. It’s so frustrating to hear my husband talk about it and I feel

Am I losing my mind?
Hello, I had DBS surgery about 6 weeks ago. And I have so much anxiety and panic attacks throughout the day it’s unbearable. Is this psychosis? If so, how is it manageable?? My thyroid panel doesn’t show a hyperthyroid so I’m good there but I can’t seem to be able to control my anxiety. Everything sets

Sodium intake
We are often told to restrict sodium intake, and this is probably a good idea if we are accustomed to eating a lot of prepared foods. However it is possible to become sodium deficient if cooking for oneself and reducing salt to the barest minimum. This can lead to some inexplicable symptoms as I personally

Getting quite worried now, eating little and feeling nauseous, stayed off Imodium for 4 days, this morning couldn’t keep off the loo but only very little bits and greasy looking, lower back pain also. Does anyone have these experiences?

What improvements can we anticipate within 10-15 years?
I am not seeking false hope nor do I want to perpetuate it but I do think there will be more treatments within the next 10-15 years. A off the top of my head list: There may be stem cells for PWP. Perhaps intravenous like the UT trial. There may be personalized cell therapy (pluripotent neurons

Thromboxane A2 [TxA2]
New study from Spain below [1]. PCa cells tend to have elevated levels of the omega-6 fatty acid: Arachidonic Acid [AA]. NF-kB, which is chronically activated in PCa creates numerous cell-survival proteins, includin the COX enzymes. Acting on AA, COX-2 creates prostaglandins and thromboxane [Tx] (

Can anyone help please
I suffered years with health anxiety, towards the end of 2020 I couldn’t stop running to the loo, spoke with my GP who organised a FIT test and full blood count, everything came back normal. Been trying to keep it under control with Imodium but last week it was just getting worse, spoke to my GP again

Iron tablets and messed up system!
Hi everyone. I have had stomach/digestive issues all my life and was finally diagnosed with IBS some 7 years ago. I’ve had numerous stool tests, scans and an endoscopy over the years but had kind of managed to find medication that would ease stomach cramps and bloating etc. I always used to veer towards

Recommended diets for IBS-D?
I am new here and have found the posts very helpful. Does anyone else feel the same about the recommended diets? I have had IBS, mostly D, for 16 years. The low Fodmap foods make me want to laugh! I wish I could eat them. I preferred a vegetarian diet before IBS; now I can rarely eat any vegetables

Anyone eating Imodium like me?
Anyone eating Imodium like pez to get control of watery/oily bowel movements? I consume 4 to 6 daily and am never constipated. I’ve had a colonoscopy, dr says nothing wrong at that end. Let’s run more test that cost more money. I said no and started taking Imodium then.

4yr 3month old son still wetting pants and soiling or fully pooing in pants.
Hi this is my first post on here, as have just joined. My son was 4 in January, started toilet training him at 3yrs, after a while he would use the potty when he had no bottoms on, but always have accidents if he had pants on. However, now he has accidents regularly whether he has pants on or not, wetting
