Getting quite worried now, eating little and feeling nauseous, stayed off Imodium for 4 days, this morning couldn’t keep off the loo but only very little bits and greasy looking, lower back pain also. Does anyone have these experiences?

Have you spoken to your doctor or gastroenterologist?
Yes I spoke with my GP this week, after a lot of pushing I am getting an appointment with a nutritionist, they are now saying it’s something I am eating that is causing it.I have had all the normal tests as in FIT, blood tests including celiac, wheat and lactose
You might keep a gastroenterologist in mind (just for your peace of mind). Were you diagnosed with IBS? I hope the nutritionist will help you.
They are saying it looks like IBS because of all the tests I have had which were very recent.I have had problems before but it settled down, I also suffer with health anxiety which doesn’t help because it makes me go more.
Also I forgot to mention 16 months ago I was diagnosed with chronic gastritis, I had a endoscopy, I take esomeprazole every day and my GP has also said it could be taking that every day that is causing the toilet issues as that is one of the biggest side effects.
You could be dairy/ lactose intolerant or ceoliac.
I have had all the food intolerance tests, celiac, wheat, lactose and they all came back normal.I have also had the FIT test, full blood count and they were also fine.
In that case I would suggest it's the medication side effects. You might also have a hidden intolerance. I have several one of which is sunflower oil, the other is dextrose. Two things which are used as every day ingredient addatives. Intolerances are hard to discover. I had tests done too and it didnt flag sunflower oil or dextrose but both make me ill.
Hi again, yes, any of the omeprazole, lansoprazole type of PPI's can cause your symptoms. Did the same to me.
