Hello - years ago I needed to take probably 6 to 8 Immodium per day to get thru the work day (and I did this for years). Then I started taking a probiotic and taking note of which food caused problems. It has been more than 10 yrs+ since I have taken an immodium. Try finding a probiotic - even lactose free yogurt - and seem if that is enough to change the gut flora in your stomach. Also try and find some form of meditation or relaxation - its often the mind that controls the gut - even 10minutes a day will help. Best of luck.
