Anti inflammatory drugs should not be used for treating patients with Corona virus
I read on the NHS Corona virus stay at home advice, to use Paracetamol and
IBUPROFEN
. Yet,
Ibuprofen
is an anti inflammatory and it can worsen the condition. They have advised not to use it in France if you have the Corona virus symptoms.

Health experts criticise NHS advice to take ibuprofen for Covid-19
Should someone suffering from coronavirus with only
ibuprofen
in their bathroom cabinet grit their teeth and make do without? Little said despite the concerns, it would be reasonable to use
ibuprofen
as a last resort.

Breast pain?
(No lump found, just a bit of swelling) The pain has gone down a bit now and taking
Ibuprofen
, I still feel nauseous and dizzy, and keep getting really anxious about it. As of today I've had really upset stomach and going to the toilet a lot (7 times?)

Alendronic acid and dentists.
I was also told by my own dentist not to take
ibuprofen
too! So on my own admission I have decided that I do not want to take Alendronic any longer especially after being told by my dentist that it would cause a fracture of my jaw and that the cavity would not heal if I have any teeth extracted.

CBD to help endo&IBS pain?
Ironically, co-codamol messes my bowels up even more and paracetamol and
ibuprofen
are not strong enough. Due to quarantine, I’m depressed and in a lot of pain, any help would be appreciated.

Allergic to paracetamol. Can I take aspirin if I get coronavirus?
There are a lots of articles and messages about avoiding
ibuprofen
if you get corona virus. I know it’s not been tested yet but I don’t want to take any risks. Can I take aspirin instead of paracetamol?

Post 1st Referral to Gyno Advice please
The end result was basically what seemed like a pathetic recommendation to take 600mg of
ibuprofen
or go on the pill. I'm writing this in a brief moment of relief of pain as my period arrived.

Does Tamoxifen suppress l immunity?
I read conflicting reports that
ibuprofen
and other anti inflammatory drugs like aspirin may suppress immunity in Corona patients. I don’t know if it’s true but it made me thinking - What about Tamoxifen? Does anyone have any information on whether it suppresses Immunity ?

Hydroxychloroquine and Covid 19
Did anyone else just hear the item on radio 4 about what drugs can make virus worse e.g.
ibuprofen
is apparently not advised and then my ears pricked up when I heard that although there wasn't absolute proof and they don't know why, but hydroxychloroquine apparently inhibits the Covid virus!

More on patches
Now I have tried the "Nurofen" patches; which release a measured dose of
Ibuprofen
over 24 hrs. I found the effect of this type of patch to be quite limited and localised (unlike the tablets). In short, because only one patch can be used at a time, they are of limited use.

I take
ibuprofen
daily as told by my GP to relieve joint pain but now they are saying it can make the virus worse. I dont want to self isolate prematurely as we are not being forced to yet as I could still potentially get on the return to work.

Hot water bottles, codeine, paracetamol and
ibuprofen
aren't touching it. Lower back pain pelvic and stomach pain and heavy bleeding. If anyone has any idea of what I could try or who to see that would be greatly appreciated.

Long term pain meds
So I’ve been taking
ibuprofen
everyday now for about a month or so to keep the pain from Costochondritis at bay.. I’m now getting super paranoid about it causing stomach Ulcers ? I’m just wondering how long you have to be taking it to cause this?

Some good tips not just for Corona patients.
Motrin,
Ibuprofen
etc. will bring your fever down allowing the virus to live longer. They are saying that ibuprophen, advil etc will actually exacerbate the virus. Use common sense and don't let fever go over 103 or 104 if you got the guts.
