Did anyone else just hear the item on radio 4 about what drugs can make virus worse e.g. ibuprofen is apparently not advised and then my ears pricked up when I heard that although there wasn't absolute proof and they don't know why, but hydroxychloroquine apparently inhibits the Covid virus!

Yes, I’d heard that re hydroxychloroquine too. I take arcoxia, which is an anti inflammatory, very strong. I wonder if it’s safe to continue doing so now

Did they think the hydroxy caused it?

No idea, sorry. I’ve been on it (and mtx and salazopyrin) for 18 months and not had any checks other than bloods.

I have had the same problem with Tinnitus been to ENT. Reduced my tablets from 2 a day to 1 and it is greatly improved.

I've been reading several study articles saying that Hydroxychloroquine is showing promising results against C19...so perhaps a little bit of good news! Of course, ther clinical studies will be incomplete so the advice is to continue with the measures recommended until we know for certain.
