Feeling sorry for my little one
They said they ‘don’t do’ any other pain relief for children other than paracetamol and
ibuprofen
and that they had her down as constipation and wouldn’t change it. Were really rude to me when I was clearly in distress with my poor daughter.

In fact, despite being sent home with co-codomol and
ibuprofen
, I haven’t taken a single painkiller since coming home. In the week since, I have still not taken any pain meds, have worn tight boxers to keep everything in place and limit the movement that causes the severe sensitivity.

Severe neck pain - PMR/GCA?
Ibuprofen
helps a little. Ice seems to help the most but didn’t help today My GP thinks the shoulder and hip are bursitis. She scheduled x-rays tomorrow for my back and to check mild scoliosis I’ve had since teen years. Right shoulder lower than left.

Another day in the neighborhood of a rare disease/autoimmune
So, I’ve added a bunch of
ibuprofen
to my daily menu to see if I can get this to calm down. Now, if anyone has any Cracker Jack tips for getting a recalcitrant 81 year old to listen to her doctor etc… Be excellent to one another. I hope y’all are still staying afloat. Hope floats!

Heartburn
I’ve had gastro issues prior to PMR because of
ibuprofen
for knee problems ( total knee replacement at 43, the joy of nursing!) but managed to get off PPI and avoided food that caused pain. Reduced carbs and following Slimming World.

Endo or Proctalgia fugax?
The only thing my GP said was take
ibuprofen
which doesn’t help at all. Does anyone have the same experience as me? I feel so isolated. The pain is so bad that my kids thought I had a heart attack Gd forbid! I can’t do anything until I have gone to the toilet for number 2.

The gift that keeps on giving.....
I developed this pain on my left side which I've now discovered is a splintered/cracked rib....and boy does it hurt 😔 I can't take
ibuprofen
. I'm using heat pad and resting. Anyone else had a cracked rib....what did you do ease the pain till it healed.

Anyone can't tolerate HCQ and why?
A couple of
ibuprofen
is enough to cause excruciating pain. So this has as some know improved somewhat since stopping the tablets. Diazepam has stopped the recurring seizures for now.

Day 27/31
and I am grateful that I could quickly reach for some
ibuprofen
in my nightstand, take some, and be able to fall back asleep not too long after. Let me not take it for granted but have a thankful heart for that. In your mercy Lord, please continue to provide for us.

Please help. Where do I go next?
I take mefenamic acid before and during my period, along with paracetamol,
ibuprofen
, and sometimes co-codamol. My hot water bottle is stuck to my belly and back like glue and I always carry one everywhere I go to try and manage the pain. Sex is also extremely painful.

I have Stills Disease RA diagnosed aged 17 now nearly 60, have been off all meds except for pain relief since mid 20s. Age, menopause, disease progression or additional RA have made some bad days intolerable now. Other symptoms of Stills and associated AI diseases like Interstitial Cystitis and Lichen

Joint pain with CLL?
Been taking
Ibuprofen
and that seems to help. Anyone else experience this? This was a sudden flare up andI never had on before. Am 71 and have been in reasonable health. Any input would be helpful.
