Hi everyone, i had a complete
hysterectomy
in 1998 which left me with a highly overactive bladder.Over the years i have been given various meds and am now on Mirabegon (Betmiga) which has helped the most, reducing my nightly dash to the loo to about 2-3 times.

Esophageal Scope - Anxiety is Ramping Up
Had a partial
hysterectomy
in 2009 and they had to put me under completely. Surgeon was trying to do it with a local and I fought and was too tense for him to do it. Finally, they knocked me out. Thank gawd. Also, it is fasting until from midnight until Noon.

6 weeks post excision surgery and still can’t walk far.
I will also eventually have a
hysterectomy
. Plus, I have adenomyosis. I have been signed off of work until next week and am seeing the doctor tomorrow to see how recovery is going. I am feeling a bit anxious about returning to work, as I am a teaching assistant and my job is quite physical.

Parts, which one?
Debulking and total
hysterectomy
, a lesion on the dome of my liver and some on my diaphragm. They have removed all but a small amount they couldn't reach so I'm currently on 9 weeks of chemo.

Confused and seeking advice
Anyway she has given me some options, Zoladex treatment and if that works referral for a
hysterectomy
, or a laparoscopy with her - she said she can carry out the basic burning away of lesions - but anything that requires excising or anything further, she would have to close me back up and refer me on

Don't want to go back on the pill/more surgeries! Deep infiltrating endo on bowel and uterine polyp removed recently for heavy bleeding.
Not just a bandaid solution of more bcp, and surgeries(
hysterectomy
and bowel resection).

My oncologist recommended a full
hysterectomy
and 6 rounds of chemo, however given that I’m 34 and we had planned on starting a family, she got us into a program for embryo creation and freezing. She said it wouldn’t be a huge risk to take this time and do that for our future.

Recurrence in Peritoneum
For context, she was diagnosed HGS stage 3c/4a in Jan 2022, had three rounds of chemo, optimal debulking surgery with full
hysterectomy
and removal of omentum, and then three more rounds of chemo. Declared NED in August 2022, and has been on Avastin every three weeks since then.

Vault granulomatous Polyp
After talking with this consultant I decided to go ahead with a total
hysterectomy
along with excision surgery, involving a bowel surgeon. I didn’t have private health insurance so self funded this.

Fistula
Has anyone who has a full
hysterectomy
to help clear stage 4 endometriosis ended up with a fistula. Unfortunately my partner has been told she has this. We ended up in A&E the other night due to my partner being in a lot of abdominal pain.

I don't really want a
hysterectomy
yet as I haven't had children. What are the other surgical options about? Has anybody had removal of endometriosis tissues or ablation or anything like that? I'm in pain so much even with the Mirena Coil. Thank you for taking your time to read this

In my twenties I underwent a full
hysterectomy
and found out I had celiac and went gluten-free. After that they stopped. This last year they have come back with bad. I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines and they present different too.

Because of scarring from my
hysterectomy
it seems neither an op or Kegal 8 are good for me. Sorry this is so long, would love to hear of others experience. Have not been out socially since November.
