So I've been away from here for a while, I've been up since 3, I had a hysterectomy in march last year for the endo and they left my overies, which I think was stupid considering they said it was on one of them I was told, and I'm still experiencing pain a year on what more can they do?? I've been waiting on a appointment for months then got a letter saying I couldn't have a appointment now but can in the near future what does this mean do I still wait or go back to GP not that he's any good just throws painkillers at me I've been on painkillers for years I hate having to scream for what I need why is endo a sore subject with some DRS, I feel like nobody listens ever, sorry guys rant over xx

I completely empathise with you here, you feel like you need to scream and shout to be listened too but when you’re so sore and tired you don’t have the energy to do so

Hi Bubble

I am sorry to hear you are still in pain. I complete understand you. I did have a total hysterectomy in April last year after many painful years with endometrioses. Unfortunately after the operation I was still in pain. Went to my GP complaining about the pain but they said I could see the consultant but had to wait for one year as they consider this as no urgent appointment🥲. I went private and after investigation the doctor found out I have a pelvic floor issue that is why I was constant in pain. The pain still but not that strong. The doctor recommend tens machine( life saving by the way … please get one) physiotherapy and pilates. As I said pain is less but I want to be pain free so I am waiting for chronic pain appoitment.

I hope that helps. Do no hesitated asking questions 😘

Hi yes I have a tens machine it worked for a while on me but soon as I take it off the pain is still there I'd have to wear it 24/7 haha I think I should maybe ask to be referred to a pain place to try and deal with it because I can't carry on with all the painkillers they make me drowsy and tired all the time basically a couch potato I'm going to try CBD oil next to see how it goes, and I'll keep nagging GP again and again xx

yea the pain is another level of stress. It is not easy to carry on a daily tasks and work. The machine helps me quiet a lot but still in pain. Looking forward for the pain specialist. I hope you get help with your GP. ☺️
