Hysterectomies??
Hi all I’ve suffered with endometriosis now for over 10 years now and quite frankly I’m just sick of it. Exhausted. Drained and I’be just had enough. It’s stage 4, and very active. The more laparoscopies they do, the worse it seems to get. Now I know a lot of people feel the same, of course they do

7 weeks post op - still in pain?
7 weeks post diagnostic laparoscopy with excision of Endometriosis. I haven't really taken note of if the pain has gotten better or worse as it's still early days. Today I am in so much pain in my lower belly, almost as if I'm about to start bleeding but I'm not due for another week. I don't take any

Missed Miscarriage but 8 week and 10 week scan showed no concern
Just a bit of background, I have PCOS that's managed through a restrictive diet and stage 4 endo but I've had a laparoscopy 18 months ago and a hysterectomy 6 months ago. We had 4 embryos in total. We had one fresh transfer that failed to implant, a frozen embryo transferthat also failed to implant.

Hysterectomy for Adenomyosis
Hi I’ve finally received a call from the hospital to say my hysterectomy will be going ahead in 3 weeks time. I feel so relieved but also starting to panic as I still haven’t decided if I should have my ovaries removed or keep them. My consultant recommends I remove them but I really don’t want to

Help and advice please
Having graduated last August I now run 2 or 3 times a week and am pleased that I am able to manage 40 minutes comfortably. Feel pretty fit. However, I am having a hysterectomy on Wednesday and I am really worried about how long it will take me to get back to running (or even walking!) after the op. Is

They said they are small but are causing heavy periods clotting etc. When I went to the gyno he suggested hysterectomy straight away, I'd only been at the appointment 5 mins when I looked at him shocked and said I wasn't keen he got very short with me

Embarrassing facial hair after hysterectomy
I had my full hysterectomy three years ago, age 33 and since then have had really embarrassing facial hair under my chin. I wax it off, but I’d rather just not have it 😞 I can only take tibolone HRT, due to my age… has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any tips? It just makes me feel so

Abdominal Hysterectomy
I had a total abdominal hysterectomy 13 days ago and I get my staples out tomorrow, but have been given little/ no advice upon discharge from Hospital the day after surgery about recovery as in what I should/should not be doing. I have support stockings on and when I asked I was told to keep them on

Post hysterectomy adhesions and nerve damage
I had a hysterectomy when I was 33 and 3 years on, I have excruciating pain and swelling. Life after my hysterectomy
Hi Just wanted to share my journey after having my hysterectomy in January this year, after suffering for years with adenomyosis and endometriosis, multiple surgeries. At the age of 27 it was a big decision but I knew I wanted my life back. Was on zoladex for 6 months before my op along with Hrt seemed

Praying for you
I hope it’s benign, or very early stage. If you are finished having children, you may want to consider a total Hysterectomy…… 🙏

Effects of pain vs effects of meds
After a full hysterectomy three years ago, I’m struggling with nerve damage (caused by 15 years of undiagnosed endo) and excessive internal scar tissue, all causing excruciating pain. The GP keeps increasing my doses of pregabalin, which helps the pain (until I get used to it and need a higher dose),

Endo and adenomyosis with bad gastro symptoms?
Hello, I've been experiencing severely painful periods - pain starting at ovulation and getting increasingly worse up to my period, together with nausea, diarrhea, dizzy spells just before period. My first gynae suspects endo and adenomyosis from the ultrasound, and put me on Prostap3 and Tibolone
