Need advice
I'm now walking on crutches and having physiotherapy and
hydrotherapy
once a week and still can't put my heel down or walk properly. I'm so traumatised by what happened. I asked my gyno surgeon what happened to my leg while he was performing the surgery and he said he doesn't know.

suicidal thoughts
I’m lost.. I’m sorry, Recently I’ve had 3 assessments in the past week in half over the phone regarding my mental health. I’ve been easily diagnosed with severe depression. Quickest diagnosis ever ! I thought the mind was as complex as the body.. but it goes to show how they think... tablets will

My "funny" hips and exercise...
I said I'd recently sourced somewhere close by that I can access
hydrotherapy
, pain management, physiotherapy - AND a anti-gravity treadmill. I've used the anti-gravity treadmill before, and I loved it, as it enables me to exercise without pain in my back or hip.

Overcoming needle phobia
For as long as I can remember (I'm 33 now) I've been very uncomfortable with any sort of medical or dental procedure that involves needles and it's not got any better over the years. As a teenager I had to be held down by a friend to get the meningitis vaccination and skipped the last tetanus booster

So very lost...
recently I have found myself spiralling out of control and falling deep in to the depths of depression. I suffer from anxiety and have recently been diagnosed with Fibromyaligia (although am awaiting neurology appointment to see if it could be MS). I am a mother of 2 under 5's and work full time 12 hour

Core exercise and pain
During a
hydrotherapy
session for back pain I did a lot of core exercise. Like an hour of core work. Since then my core is hurting but also I'm getting pain in my abdomen like cramps. Anyone else had anything like this?

Psychic reading or hypnosis??
I have anxiety and ptsd from a traumatic marriage in my past. I am now engaged to a wonderful man but because of my past I have a lot of insecurities that he does not understand. Has anyone ever went to a psychic for a reading and actually what they said came out to be true or have you ever been hypnotized

What They Don't Tell You
I started taking an antidepressant for migraines in 1987. I was a size 8 when I started. I ended up a size 16 within a year. The depression diagnosis came because I started cutting to ease my anxiety. Then I was put on anti anxiety and anti psychotic. The med roller coaster has been tried, stopped, another

15 days and counting until diagnosis. Little history about me as my first post on here.
Hello everyone, I'm Sophie, just joined here. I'm 29 and 15 days until my laparoscopy which I'm hoping will diagnose me with Endo. I say hoping because I'm so fed up with all the problems I've had over the years. It is also in my family history, both my Nanny and Auntie were found to have Endometriosis

GP advised me to buy an over counter sleeping pill and that contains antihistamine. Can’t have prescription one as have sleep apnea and

Hypnotherapy on NHS?
Today I have been to see a gastroenterologist who feels that hypnotherapy might be helpful for me (have tried everything else!) Just wondered if anyone has managed to get this on the NHS?

Restless Legs Syndrome
Hi, after many years suffering with RLS, walking miles round the house during the night, stretching and everything else I could think of. I tried several drugs with no result, even tried hypnotherapy. Eventually I was prescribed Pramipexole 0.18mg tablets and I take 1, half an hour before going to bed

Pain medications
Hello I have followed this site for a few years now but have never posted. I would just like to mention pain medications have there place, however ask yourself is your doctor really listening to you or just writing repeat prescription for pain meds you don't really need. I have taken every medication
