I've been told that i cannot have hydrotherapy or do exercises in a pool because of my CKD stage 3, really?
Welcome. Strange that you were told that. Normally you don't have a problem being in water unless you have a catheter like for PD. Since you aren't there yet, did they provide any reason for the avoidance of submerging in water? I've lost a lot of weight and I know that water exercise provides a lot of resistance and is a great tool for those who can use it. I'm also at Stage 3.
It was for a disc issue that I have. I am suprised how much CRF comes up even though you are told that you don't have anything to worry about.
This is unusual; exercise in water is usually safe. You should ask why.
Exactly. I needed a wisdom tooth removed which should have been done under a General but because of CRF they did it under a local instead. Which I can understand why and was extremely grateful for because me and generals don't get on. I just don't think they wanted to do it or spend the money to be honest.
