Red itchy spots
I am suffering from skin irritation for a couple of years now, red spots that really itch, they come and go, the doctor gave me steroid cream that does cure it for a while but when I stop using it returns, can you get steroid cream without perscrition?

Treating Adrenals
Hi My GP won't recognise my health symptoms as being hypothyroid, so I have been self treating using Dr P's Thyroid book. Over the last six weeks I have slowly ramped up the adrenalin supplement to 160mg a day of Adreno Lyph, and have now introduced 80mg Thyroid supplement. I have been feeling the best

Blood test results - can you offer help
After last summer's upset and managing to go hyper on Nutri Thyroid, I was managing ok until quite recently. I had to change my adrenal support from Nutri Adrenal (due to bad adrenaline surges); moved to Thorne Ace and was having to take such quantities, I switched to Hydrocortisone which was suggested

Adrenal/Addisons in females.
I have just been diagnosed with Adrenal insufficiency - 300nmol/l and am now on 10mg,5mg,5mg of hydrocortisone. Luckily I have had regular checks for the past 10 years so this was picked up quickly. I didn't really have any symptoms although I felt tired at times, but thought it was just the disease.

Still no diagnosis
Having a rough time at the moment. Ache from head to toe with every joint being really painful which has been progressively getting worse since last week Friday. Got strange white patches appearing over torso (none of my face luckily) which I finally did go to GP about. He prescribed a steroid cream.

Hydrocortisone & HPA axis suppression
Hi, could anyone clarify if a daily dose of Hydrocortisone @ 20mcg per day for a prolonged period (say 6 months) would result in suppression of the HPA axis? Many thanks in advance.

adrenal fatigue and how to treat it
I was on Medrol (4-6 mg daily) for four years, after being diagnosed with adrenal fatigue by a Hertoghe doctor in Belgium. I weaned off it more or less by mistake; one day, about two months ago, I was going to the lab, and was not supposed to take any meds before that, and then I just decided to wait

Discharged from hospital after 2.5 weeks 3 days in Intensive care.
I'm new to this forum. I thought I would join after I have just been discharged last night from a pretty traumatic hospital admission. I have been asthmatic since age of 13 but have had several years where it had disappeared. Just before Easter my husband had a flu type illness and he really was very

Help with Blue Horizon blood test results
Hello, I have just received some blood test results and would be extremely appreciative if anyone could help me with interpreting them. I take 3 grains of Armour daily plus medication for Addison's disease. My limited understanding of my thyroid results would be that they are a little on the low side

~Glory be - low then high blood pressure whilst tapering?
Any experiences on the following - much appreciated in advance. Reducing hydrocortisone a fraction further as requested by Rheumy from 15mg (equivalent to 3 mg Pred) down to 12.50mg Hydrocort which = 2.5 Pred. This is my third attempt. Less than 2 days into taper breathlessness appeared again (a feature

why does my heart beat so loud?
Hi, I have m.e/cfs - please don't tell me I don't it's just insulting - and have experimented with all sorts of different ways of treating my hypothyroidism, low cortisol and m.e. At the moment I have found 85mcgs T3 plus one quarter of a grain of NDT (last thing at night helps with sleep) is the best
