Prednisolone Side Effects

I've now been sent home on 40mg Prednisolone a day and I'm having horrid side effects of shaking and lethargy. I called my GP yesterday to make sure these side effects are

Changing Steriods
Hi All. I wrote a few months ago asking for advice on stopping Prednisolone and going onto Hydrocortisone as tests showed my adrenal gland wasn't functioning adequately due to long term Steriods. I have GPA. Diagnosed 2005. Well I did try and I was ok for 2 weeks then developed muscle aches and joint

As I've said in title I've restarted hydrocortisone and fludro ,i must admit I don't feel any better fatigue wise and muscle weakness continues .I'm presuming these are cortiscosteroids . I'm fed up with feeling crap and been overtook by 70 yrs olds while out for a stroll. I've got the lot pmr gca,type1

Is this Pityriasis Rosea?
In Feb, I noticed that a mole my husband has on his side, had a rash like a haloaround it. The rash then developed mainly on his truck and back, but also on his legs and arms. The GP has diagnosed Pityriasis Rosea but it's non typical in that it's not itchy or sore. However, it does look like hives

Intimate gyn dryness tips
Steroids: ·
Hydrocortisone
: apparently this can help with sores/lesions · Dermovate*: extra strong, keeps my lichen sclerosus controlled, the ointment form suits me better than the cream Oestrogens: Topical HRT*: Vagifem slow release vaginal tablets, Ovestin & Gynest creams

Concerns about daughter
Hi folks, I have been diagnosed with SLE for 4 years now and have severe organ involvement, heart/lungs. Looking back I think I have had this all of my life. My daughter who has recently turned 4 has a sore and swollen vagina, she can be up 3/4 times a night crying in pain and this has been this case

No wheeze
I hate going to any doctor about my asthma. Hate it! I always get you are not wheezing it cannot be asthma - then after them listening to my chest I get your lungs are full of mucus so the inflammation must be cause by your asthma. Drives me mad everytime! I am back on prednisolone 30mg for 7 days

Hi everyone, I had my third chemo yesterday with the first addition of Avastin. I knew that it was going to take about eight hours but it turned out to be even longer. I went to the loo, and although I was really careful with the line, it somehow came out. I felt the pain and when I looked at it, my

Where can I buy Pregnenolone & Prednisolone privately in the UK?
Hello all, I am just awaiting results of my second ASP test from Genova. The last ones (back in 2010) were all way, way out of normal, so basically at the Exhaustion stage with DHEA and Corstisol worryingly low. I saw Dr Peatfield years ago & tried the Nutri Adrenal Extra route (and reduced my thyroxine

Intramuscular vs subcutaneous administration
Earlier today I posted a guess about IM vs SC administration of B12. I decided to so some looking around and found this paper - http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4494621/ The results showed, for many of the drugs studied, there was little difference between the two routes. Some of the individual
