Update. Appointment with GP With Specialist Interest in lieu of Consultant Dermatologist
It’s late and I’m tired but I need to do this before I forget it all and maybe it will help clarify things in my head. It went OK. He was pleasant enough. He listened. He didn’t treat me like I was stupid. He didn’t patronise me. He seemed OK. Just not a Consultant. But that’s not his fault and I guess

Adrenal Supps Vs Hydrocortisone (HC)
Can anybody clarify this? I read that adrenal supplements feed the adrenals whereas HC actually swithces them off and gives the adrenals a rest. When the body rests it can go into a state of repair and recovery. Therefore I would think that HC would improve the health of adrenals at a faster rate. I

I have had it for about a month, I have been to the doctors twice now first one said I had eczema and gave me a steroid cream, it made it less red but came back straight away on the two days off. The other doctor said it is roseca and gave

Face and neck acne
Hi all!! I have been having issues with white head spots on my neck and deep red infected spots on my face. I have tried lots of different shop bought creams/washes and scrubs but they only tend to last for a short time. I went to the doctor today who prescribed lymecycline antibotics and epiduo steroid

Hi I have recently ordered hydrocortisone from where I thought was Greece, and it turns out he's in Montenegro, can anyone please tell me if it is safe before I pay my hard earned money over to MoneyGram. KR Mazamoomoo

PICC line
I went to hospital today, as the vein that was used for chemo 2 weeks ago has swollen and become tender in the last 3 days! I have been given hydrocortisone cream and after examining my veins, which are all showing signs of fatigue, it was decided that I should have a PICC line inserted. I am a bit concerned

Possible treatment option :)
Hey there, [i] just wanted to post because I found something that really helped me and thought it might help someone else. So I have a HH breakout that's been bothering me for over a month now, it passed the wound "weeping" stage but just would NOT heal no matter what I tried. I was getting super miserable

Endo adding 2.5 mcgs of hydrocortisone to T4 and T3 - just need reassurance.
My endo has decided to add a low dose of Hydrocortisone 2.5 mcgs to my thyroid treatment because my cortisol seems a bit low and we are struggling with over stimulation symptoms even though I am well within range. I'm central hypothyroid. There may be an element of partial ACTH deficiency now as my ACTH

Has anybody bought themselves an emergency steroid injection?
I need to have a wisdom tooth out soon and am worried about the whole adrenal suppression issue. I am self medicating with 20mg hydrocortisone, for low adrenal function, and am aware that, after 5 years of doing this, I probably now have adrenal suppression (ie. my adrenals may not be able to do much
