Adenomyosis and natural perimenopause/menopause
Hello - hope you are all as well as can be. Looking for experiences from those who have adenomyosis and are going through /have gone through natural perimenopause/menopause. Did any treatments help with symptoms? Any treatments make things worse? For those in natural menopause - how are your symptoms

Is anyone on T3 only and experiencing anxiety and symptoms of worrying lots? Wondering if this is a menopause or thyroid issue..
I was currently taking metavive for my under active thyroid, but due to self dosing it wasn't working as I was on too high a dose. When working out (seems a life time ago!) my heart rate was 200bpm. I therefore came off metavive and now seeing an endocrinologist. I am now on T3 only as thyroxine didn't

Hi everyone. Sorry a bit long winded.🥺 Recently I have developed reactions to medication. In January I developed rash to my HRT patch that I had been using for 6months, then an allergy to my perfume. In Feb I started on methotrexate for my arthritis but I got really bad nausea that lasted 4 weeks, then

TSH is either a faulty indicator of treatment or if not, patients are often incorrectly treated by T4 (a logical challenge)
This paper is useful in indicating how long it takes to recover TSH levels after start of treatment for hypothyroidism, and that a considerable proportion of patients were, according to TSH normalisation or not, were incorrectly treated. Of course, we know TSH normalisation on T4 only isn't a good

Hello,im post menopausal and 49. Wow, weird to say it; I’m 49.
I’ve decided to try hrt. Mostly because if I have at least 30 more years ahead of me I want to be me not this person I don’t recognize. I’ve looked for women doctors in the hopes I would have better care of sympathy I guess… no luck so, I went back to my doctor. I trust his judgment and he always took

I'm new here - Utrogestan/Mirena query
I have been using the Mirena coil for PMS and for the progesterone part of HRT since June last year, and want to have it removed due to hair loss, but am worried about taking Utrogestan as taking it two weeks a month could re-start the cycle of depression/mood swings that I was trying to resolve by having

Extending zodalex treatment and symptoms?
Hi all, I wondered if anyone could help or advice. I have been on zodalex and hrt for 5 months and will be my six month injection next month. Zodalex has helped with my pain a lot and have been able to do things again, however I’ve started to notice that my old symptoms have been creeping in again

Induced chemical menopause
Hi ladies, my consultant is offering me to be put into a chemical induced menopause, via injections to shut down my ovaries for 6 months to see how I feel, then perhaps the possibility of a total hysterectomy including removal of the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm very anxious to have

Misinformed about use oestrogel
Hi I’m 56 and been peri menopausal for at least 10 years and although I’ve had numerous visits to the GP, I still have no idea whether I’m post or peri menopausal as apparently there is no way of knowing?!? But then I seen a trainee dr who told me that she could do a blood test to find out? So confusing

Latest visit to the Rhemy
I'm on 8mg steroids, 15mg methotrexate (to get me off the steroids) and Alendronic Acid for OP. My neck and wrists have been in getting worse as I reduce. I wake up with wrists throbbing and am finding it hard to dress myself again. I thought by reducing to 8mg the specialist would be happy but also
