Endometriosis & Menopause
Has anyone with severe Endo gone through the menopause young? I'm only 38 and it appears my time has come. Did you take or were you recommended HRT? I've previously had Zoladex so in a way know what to expect but not sure if anyone has experienced issues with standard menopause treatments.

Are these AFib effects permanent
Over the last few months I’ve had the worst prolonged AF attack ever. The strength, the continuous speed (was 140bpm) that my chest hurt. I’m awaiting cardioversion but I have never felt so unable to walk and I am so tired I feel like I’ve had a horse tranquilliser (not that I ever have had 😆) My beta

What links have been note between Autoimmune Encephalitis & the Thyroid symptoms on this forum?
Since discovering ’Stop the Thyroid Madness’ all those years ago I have gone on to research Hashimoto/Autoimmune encephalitis and it’s systemic root causes & wondered if anyone has noted links with symptoms described on this forum? I’m even listening to symptoms from women suffering with menopausal symptoms

Unsuitable for Aortic valve replacement
Hi, usually just soak up all the positivity and advice in here but now have a question relating to my 84 yr old dad. He is in hospital, having been rejected for a 2nd time for valve replacement (all within the last 12 wks). They have said the risks are too great for him. But surely the risks are also

Vaginal thrush
I have had what seems to be vaginal thrush for weeks. I have taken 6 fluconazole tablets 72 hours apart but still have a problem. I am unable to use a pessary. My doctor has suggested I use vaginal gel which I believe is HRT. This is a big decision and I am reluctant to take it as one side effect can

Weight loss help (underactive thyroid)
Hi all, I need some help on how to lose weight with this annoying condition. I’m on armour thyroid, I take 1.5 grains at night and 1.5 grains in the morning. I’ve just gone onto hrt to treat early menepause symptoms. Blood are all good now on armour. I’m gluten intolerant so I don’t eat foods with gluten

Living with Endo.
I was in extreme pain every month crippled on the floor, unable to move. My condition was missed for years by the doctors who refused to believe there was anything wrong with me, in extreme pain for three weeks out of four I eventually got an ultrasound scan which picked up a large mass. I saw a gynaecologist

Hip replacement
I’ve been placed on the
hip
replacement
list and pain is now so bad I can’t walk on that leg without bending over which is causing back and the other hip pain. My gp gave oramorph liquid but now tablets which don’t tough the pain. He has told me to also take paracetamol but it not helping.

Emailed BBC!
I've just emailed More or Less, and Inside Health (BBC radio 4 programmes, for non UK people) to see if they might cover (for more or less) what the research data really says about things like TSH and osteoporosis/atrial fibrillation and (for inside health) the topic more generally. I'm hoping they might
