Acid reflux
Found out I had a large hiatal
hernia
in 06'. I had surgery to
repair
it in 08'. Everything was great for about four years,no reflux or stomach issues and didn't need any meds or any anti acids. Then I started having a little reflux again.

Groin and leg pain and mini stroke
Eight years ago I had a left orchiectomy, which seemed to go well, and the following year I had a bilateral inguinal
hernia
repair
. The surgeon caught one of my nerves (I think it was the femoral nerve) but I’m not sure, and he told me that it would eventually release it’s self.

Big hello to Sunday weigh in peeps 🙋🏻
I'm currently recovering from
hernia
repair
surgery which has helped me lose a brilliant 10lb in the last 4 weeks. I still weigh 14 st 13 lb so I still have around two and a half stone to lose to get to my target of 12 st 7 lb.

Chest pain 24/7
I had a large left sided diaphragmatic
hernia
repair
in late February at the Royal Marsden...a long term complication of the oesophagectomy. It was hoped that the the pain I was getting was referred pain but it wasn't. I am struggling to function on a daily basis. I am 46 years old.

Enough is Enough
So had emergency surgery to drain the abscess, wash out and test the nasty fluid from my pelvis and
repair
a
hernia
I didn't even know I had from my previous surgery. Started on multiple strong IV Antibiotics.

CLL and appendectomy
It was in the region of a
hernia
repair
that was done last January, so that's what I thought it was at first. I didn't have typical inflamed appendix symptoms.

Why?
So my roommate went in for a
hernia
repair
and expansion/reinforcement of her diaphragm and esophagus on December 14, 2016. She coded twice in surgery and was then placed in a medically induced coma and didn't wake up until Christmas.

Reflux and gum problems
Also I had a endoscopy just over a year ago and that was fine, just a small inflammation, but would they have checked for a
hernia
? I have already had a epigastric
hernia
repair
in the past. Thank you

My cancer journey!
I have read thatwomen who have
hernia
repair
with this problem have multiple failed surgeries, but there are Doctors who repair this type of hernias as well as the bulgewith specific surgery developed for this with vary high success rates but don't know where or how to find them in my state .
