Let’s start the week with one of my most favorite combination of powerful health beneficial veggies dish! 🌱😋❤️
Hello everyone, hope you have a great start of the week! 🤗 Today for Lunch, I sauté sliced Mushrooms and bitter melons in sesame oil and seeds with plenty of garlics and green onions. It is a simple dish but packed with health benefits and I enjoyed these gifts of Mother Nature. To me, that’s the true

To boost or not to boost
Finally got a reply from my haematologist saying yes to a booster jab, yes at the same time as flu jab and that any make of vaccine is acceptable as a booster. Freddie

B vitamins, B12 and multiple sclerosis symptoms
I read that there are many symptoms if b12 deficiency that are almost the same as Multiple Sclerosis. Does anyone have any information on this topic? I was looking into an article written by PhD students at a University in Australia. And they had compared such similarities between MS and a b12 and

Why Does High Dose Thiamine Work?
I like to keep challenging the items in my stack. HDT is in my stack. I believe in HDT. But why? So far I trust HDT because of the results from Dr Constantini and the testimonials. Time to look for some science: Neurological, Psychiatric, and Biochemical Aspects of Thiamine Deficiency in Children

How do you know if you are suffering from long Covid or from worsening asthma?
I have suffered from asthma and breathing difficulties for a number of years however in the past two years it has got progressively worse. A few years back I was wakening up 'dead' not being able to breath and literally that bad that my wife took a video of one of my episodes and when I showed it to

Wait & Watch - What does it entail?
I’m relatively new to the CLL community. My diagnosis was incidental while following up with blood tests post COVID infection. I’m currently on W&W with a Rai score of 0. This community has been a great support and I’ve learnt a lot here. It has given me hope & reassurance. I’m still confused about

Consultation with Haematologist Today
Just had my yearly telephone consultation with my haematologist. My bloods are stable over the past year. Yippee! He's made an appointment for August 2022. He did make some startling claims however: 1. You can get a live shingles vaccine if you are not having treatment. 2. Your reaction to covid vaccination

Thursday Lunch/Dinner: Roasted purple potatoes and mushrooms with rosemary & sage herb. 🍠🍄🥦🧅😋❤️🌺
Hello everyone, hope you all have a joyful day so far and a wonderful day ahead! 🤗 I remember my childhood, I always had a little sweet potato for breakfast and off to school. It was uplifting, tasty and comforting at the same time, besides the fact that a potato has even more potassium than a banana

Preparing for treatment for hep c
Dr is trying to get me approved for treatments and I’m scared because I had hep b in the past and afraid it will come back if I do the treatments for hep c, I see where they say it can come back with new treatments, just worried, Dr says I have no liver damage yet, but my viral load is really high

Help with payment's
Hi, thanks for letting me join your group, I have a query, I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C back in December last year, but we've found I contracted it back in 1979 when I was given contaminated blood after a transfusion. I have received stage 1 payments but think it should be back dated to April 2016

Covid Vaccine with Vanishing Twin?
I am due to have my first Covid vaccine today and am having a last minute panic due to the fact that I have a demised twin. I lost Twin B at 8 weeks and, at our 16 week scan, it was still there. I am 18 weeks now and have been told that the demised twin will be reabsorbed by both my body and our remaining

Medichecks saying no B12 to be taken for 2 weeks before Advanced Thyroid Function test?
Here we go again! Stopped taking vitamin B complex one week before test as advised on forum but Medichecks saying no vitamin B12 should be taken for 2 weeks before test unless being prescribed by doctor in which case they would take this into account. Any comments most welcome please.

Any issues with Covid vaccination and AF
I’m having a phizer Covid vaccine on Monday (I know it’s late but Japan is way behind) and wondered if any fibbers had issue with it. The regular flu vaccine sometimes makes me skip a few beats but was wondering if the vaccine for covid has triggered anyone?

Cirrhosis and hepatitis
Hi Everyone, My brother in law is in the hospital with alcohol cirrhosis and hepatitis C. Without a transplant he will not survive. Does anyone know if the hepatitis is a significant factor for receiving a transplant? Or is it mostly the precursor to cirrhosis? My husband had a liver transplant in September

Shingles vaccine
People in the uk, don't shoot me. Instead, lobby the nhs to cover the Shingrix vaccine which is over 90% effective, and much more effective in older people than Zostavax. Also because it is not a live vaccine it is more appropriate for people on immune suppressing medication. If in the US you can
