Mitral Valve Regurgitation?

Picturing my funeral
I had another tough day yesterday with plenty of suicidal ideation. I managed to get out and hike when I got home and was having a spirited discussion with myself trying to question the stream of irrational thoughts. I became quite emotional and stopped and started to imagine my 4 daughters at my funeral

Support for husband having triple heart bypass in February 2024
My husband had a heart attack in August 2023. When stenting his artery, surgeons said another artery needed attention. They tried to stent 5 days later but couldn't and he was put on the waiting list for a bypass. This is scheduled for mid February. He's only 65, fit - but a Type 1 diabetic. He's terrified

Something I forgot to mention
I wrote about Toprol (Metoprol) a few minutes ago. I forgot to mention that I also take Flecainide, 100 mg. twice a day.

A nightmarish journey
I am feeling pretty desperate, staring at my computer screen at work or lying motionless in my apt reading or watching movies to try not to obsess about my depression. My anti-depressants stopped working and I have weaned off them after 20 plus years with the goal of trying psilocybin. I am struggling

I’ve done traditional mental

(with
anxiety
meds) for a couple years now to help me deal with my cancer. That coupled with 7 years of Lupron and all the other chemo and immunotherapy drugs and side effects - I feel have cumulatively affected my mental health.

Bit old fashioned...
I discovered that a castor oil pack really helps with knee pain. It's horrible sticky oil, but it works topically (for me at least). I have bad memories of this stuff from my childhood. Any hint of sickness and out came the bottle. I would not recommend injesting it! 🤮 it's better than the deep heat

”you don’t want to die, you want to feel what it’s like to actually live”
I have been in 2 different types of therapy for most of the year, but my
health
keeps declining and
anxiety
is increasing. I do know what it’s like to really live, so I know what it COULD be like and how I could feel. I don’t know how to get there again. Especially in this current world.

Consider Archery for Building Strength
I realize this post may not apply to all of us, but hear me out, not all of us can or want to spend an hour at the gym pounding weights or running , yet we don't want to waste away and lose our strength . I read an article that stated brief intermittent burst of light to moderate exertion type exercise
