Question About "Normal" vs Very Low ESR/CRP

health

so I tend to overreact at times and have trouble letting go of fears, even when tests come back fine and doctors offer reassurance (for whatever ailments I might have thought I had in the past). Thank you.

ibuprofen gel
Currently unable to contact a pharmacist or doctor. Does anyone know of a topical pain killer gel I can take whilst on anticoagulants? Apparently, ibuprofen gel is a no-no. Thanks Thanks everyone, pharmacist confirmed I can use Deep Heat, Heat Patches and or, paracetamol.

Wirral support group?
My dad is 6 weeks post open heart surgery and is looking to join a local support group. It looks like the BHF one has closed down on the Wirral. Are there any others in the Wirral please?

Leadless pacemakers
I live in North Carolina and I have sick sinus syndrome and afib as well as Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy. I just learned a few weeks ago about the newer leadless pacemakers. I understand they are becoming the standard as compared to the wired versions with leads. I had a dual chamber pacemaker implanted

GP appointment postponed
My GP appointment has been postponed until 18th July, I wasn't offered an appointment with another doctor. This means I have to postpone the private endo appointment too as it required me to get a referral from my GP. I will do a full thyroid blood tests when I've been on my meds fior 6 weeks. Is there

Health Anxiety after heart attack
Hi, I am a 45 year old male who suffered a heart attack back in April which resulted in me having 4 stents. I am constantly fearing that I am going to have another heart attack. I feel chest pain all the time and have been back to A&E three times since. Has anyone had or is experiencing the same

Post Ablation Diagnosis
I have been very fortunate and had my Afib ablation in Leicester in May. I had excellent treatment with very minimal side effects from the procedure and am back doing exercise and best of all, no episodes of Afib - so all very positive even though it is very early days. My follow up appointment is in

Low Blood Pressure and Heart Rate
Hello All. Does anyone have any advice on this? My EP agreed I could come off Flecainide and just use it as PIP. However, he said I should stay on Apixaban. I had thought it was Flecainide causing the unpleasant side effects of dizziness, breathlessness and lightheadedness as well as stiff aching legs

I suffer with

and the slightest thing, just sets me off! Last week I received a letter from hospital for a appointment for a CT scan! My doctor didn't know anything, and when I contacted the secretary of the doctor that referred me, she didn't know.

Hi all, Looking for some tips on how you deal with
health
anxiety
with this conditions. I was diagnosed with limited scleroderma around 4 years ago and have been relatively lucky with my symptoms. I have minor gi issues and some pretty painful lumps on some of my fingers.

Calling all patients who have had a heart valve surgery or a TAVI
Hello lovely ones! Some of you may know me already - I had a 2x CABG last Jan, aged 34. Well today is my 36th birthday! I am happy and healthy :D The reason I am posting is that I am hopefully moving in to the world of cardio industry, I was previously in clinical nutrition and artifical feeding.

Diazepam addiction.
Hi, I have been addicted to diazepam for a few years and have finally tapered down over a few months to 1mg per night. I honestly don't think it is strong enough to matter but if I don't have one just before I go to bed I cannot sleep. Also would taking magnesium oxide and 1mg of diazepam interact

Tacycardia - how long before I go to A and E?
Well this is a new problem for me. I have AF and in the past year episodes have become much more frequent to the point where the ‘A’ word has been discussed and I am now on the waiting list for an ablation. During all the years with AF I have rarely had a problem with a fast heart beat - up to now
