On DL slow taper. Facing people around in a few days. Wonder about upping slightly for a day or two.
I have not experienced any
pain
or stiffness but have had some dead
head
days. I just push through, rest or doze when needed. Currently lack of energy and having to pace.I will have some family for a couple of days and they know my situation.

What exclusionary tests should I ask my doctor for? IL-6 inflammation tests? + other random PMR questions
I worry somewhat about GCA involvement because when my symptoms have been strong I sometimes get headaches vertically along my
head
in the temple area & jaw
pain
. That and pulsatile tinnitus. But I'm not sure how reasonable that worry is.

Anxious about totally bizarre symptoms
I suffered Nephritis as a child (60 years ago) and have since then had no kidney problems except passing a kidney stone around 5 years ago. For the past 5 or 6 nights I have been woken with quite severe pain in the area of my right kidney. At first I assumed I was passing another stone and the first

Complete thyroidectomy & meds
Hello everyone ! I had a complete thyroidectomy in August. Initially, I had been taking the generic Levothyroxine. I immediately had horrible symptoms of crushing depression and extreme fatigue. My doctor boosted me up to 125 mg and there was no difference. I looked online and read that some people

New meds.
Thanks for all the comments in my previous post. I'm speaking to the doctor in the UK on Friday. Gabapentin or Pregablin is suggested by many of you which I now know are pain killers. I wouldn't say I'm in pain just discomfort that stops me sleeping. Is it still right to ask for these. In the UK dopamine

Silly Mistake
Hi, I’ve been gradually reducing my preds, was down to 6mg, decided to try 5.5, after being on 6 for about a month. All was going well, I tend to take my dose along with a nerve painkiller around 5/6am. I had mistakenly put a one in my box, instead of a five, which I only noticed after two nights.

Fed up with not sleeping
I feel like my brain is foggy at work and I haven't had a proper nights sleep for five months, on top of the endo I have an inflamed jaw and pain in my ear I am concerned about my hearing, I just feel broken. I know if I was getting proper sleep my brain is much faster. I can't go on like this took maximum

appointment with consultant soon, possibly surgery, and im terrified because of my ptsd and i dont know what to expect <3
I realise i must have some sort of medical trauma from all the doctors who have laughed in my face over the years, crossed my boundaries and told me its all in my
head
and the
pain
is just something you have to live with or to have a baby at fucking 14 so it reduces the period cramps after having a baby

New here - Advice for talking to GP - could it be endometriosis? Painful periods, irregular bleeding, bowel & fertility issues
Hi everyone, I've never spoken with a GP specifically about endometriosis, but after speaking with a few people I have been wondering if it could be. I have been multiple times to GP about issues relating to menstruation (pain, irregular bleeding/spotting), bowel issues, and fertility as have been

Painful Breast
For example she complains of
pain
: if she lifts her right arm above her
head
, quick walking, going over road bumps in the car, using the hover, washing the right breast, general things that involve the use of the right arm with a swinging or lifting motion.

Celecoxib / Celebrex
Does anyone have experience with taking Celebrex longer term? I've found it seems to do a great job of controlling inflammation for me. I'm wondering how long I might be allowed to take it. A question for my doc of course, but my next appt is a month away so I thought I would turn to the seasoned
