TENS Machines and AF
Hi, I recently posted about painkillers (for Femoral Nerve pain in my case) and the myriad potential side effects including heart rhythm problems, which put me off taking any painkillers at all. At an appointment with a physiotherapist today I asked if a home TENS Machine could be used to alleviate

please help. Desperate.
Before I start, this is definitely going to be a long winded one but stay with me here if you can 😂 I’m absolutely desperate for some kind of answers, advice, similar experiences - literally anything to make me feel like I’m not going completely insane. I’ve just turned 27 last month, I have 4 children

scalp dermatitis connected ?
More like the back of
head
and behind one ear. No jaw
pain
etc. I’ve just found couple of raised sore patches. Been to the chemist and he suggested was dermatitis. I have had this in my younger days years ago. Given me some shampoo.

osteoporosis pain medication
Hi. I am suffering terribly with back pain recently and I don’t get on well with pain meds however even I know I can’t function like this it’s agony. The gp offered me codeine morphine etc but I can’t touch those or ibuprofen style medicine so I was wondering if anyone has been prescribed alternatives

Possible R.A ?
But around Feb my neck was extremely painful to the point I couldn't turn my
head
or drive. This
pain
hasn't gone away and causes me headaches everyday. But things started becoming sore at night, my back then my hips to the point I bought a new matress.

Obstructive defecation anyone ?
So, I've been referred for an anal manometry and and endo anal ultrasound. A digital rectal exam is painful enough so I'm wondering whether these are too? Anyone had one??

Having two contraceptions
Hi, I'm about to get the Mirena coil but I'm currently on the depo injection. I was wondering if it's ok to be on two contraceptions at once? I'm thinking it might help with the transition and pain as I'm really struggling to get strong enough pain killers from my GP. They have prescribed mefenamic

pain
here or there but a feeling my
head
was wrapped in layers of cotton wool and in huge glass bowl an the PT was bouncing of it really loud, like a washing machine pulsing.

Painkillers for nerve pain / side effects
I am a 71 yo male with PAF / exercise induced AF, which doesn’t overly affect me too much. I am fairly active and a regular cyclist. Recently I have been suffering with a trapped > irritated Femoral Nerve in my Left leg. This is quite painful at times and keeps me awake at night. I have been attending

constant Endo pain ruining my life
I’ve been awake since 12:00am couldn’t take painkillers until 2:30am .. constant pain I don’t know how much more I can endure. This is not normal, I’ve lived with this for 15 years worst it’s ever been. Can’t get in to see consultant. naproxen 4x a day with paracetamol as a pain killer is now not lasting
