Lumbar Spine - help on understanding MRI scan result
From February 2024, the
pain
on the left side of the body from
head
to toe became more severe and the brain fog lasting longer which resulted in falls. I also started losing control over the bladder. By the way I'm 47 years old.

Cyst and possible rupture
Sorry a bit of a rant but i need to release it. I was diagnosed with endo 7 years ago following a cyst removal (although looking back, I had been suffering a lot longer). I have not been seen by gynea since. Around may this year I was sent for an ultrasound after repeatedly reporting an increase in

How long does it take to get pain relief once on medication?
Since discharge from hospital I have still experienced fluctuating chest, arm and rib
pain
, breathlessness with light exertion and severe
head
pressure. First trip to hospital resulted in prescription for diltiazem hydrochloride.

Feeling rough
I still keep feeling like i'm going to be ill, like the way you feel just before a flu with a fuzzy
head
. I'm feeling fatigued a lot and have intermittent
pain
in my chest, not like an angina pain but more of a sitting on my chest pain which doesn't last for long.

hi! I had my first specialist appointment recently and had another set of ultrasounds, and visual checks. They can not see anything visually wrong but mentioned the possibility of it being endometriosis due to symptoms but will not confirm this. Apparently the op (lap…) could make things worse? Due

Chemo side effects and opioid intolerance
Hi all. This is my first post. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer in September and have just had my first chemo. I have had chronic pains in my legs that normal painkillers haven't touched. I'm opioid intolerant but took codeine an hour after metoclopramide hoping this would work but sadly

GCA Update
It also hurts, (that left eye) along with
pain
and pressure on the left side of my
head
. I had a pretty good day yesterday in terms of energy and pain, but today’s a big downturn. I have a low-grade fever also of 99.4. And I just feel very crummy.

Issues with cervical spine and no diagnosis
In the beginning of February of this year, 2024, I began suffering from
pain
in the back of my
head
. It was a sharp burning
pain
. At first, I thought it might be occipital neuralgia due to the fact I was spending an increased amount of time in bed.

been to see the gp
saw the gp who said it’s vulvodinia. I’ve never heard of that problem before. But reading up on it sounds like just the kind of pain I have. Nothing can be done. Just painkillers. Todays been awful 😢

so much pain.
I am in so much pain that I just don’t know what to do with myself. The pain is across the bottom of my back and stretching down into my hip has to be the worst I have ever had. I have just come home from hospital after 2weeks & the doctors said there is nothing more they can do for me except for painkillers

tight muscles
anyone suffer from tight abdominal, rectum, buttock and inner thigh / hamstring muscles? I have previously managed these on the assumption that it is pelvic floor dysfunction. Whilst the relevant exercises seemed to hold the pain and discomfort at bay for a while and enable bowel movements to relieve

My rheumy wants me off of prednisone as soon as possible
First of all, thanks to everyone who replied me, and gave me valuable advice on my previous post. This is an update. Previously, I mentioned that I wasn't happy with my first rheumy appointment as she thinks I don’t need steroids because my inflammation markers are in a normal range and this is not a

My Knees
So….. I have been unable to walk let alone run since I developed knee pain almost 2 weeks ago after completing week 1. I am now at the point where I can reduce the painkillers although the pain is still there I can tolerate it and ‘hobble’ around. I am unsure if I should try the C25K again in a week

A little late
I haven't been able to draw or paint for months -- just no inspiration, and a lack of faith in my own abilities. This week I bought a blending stump (eh?) and produced the attached, which I call Nature Red in Tooth and Paw. Sorry it's late for Off Topic Friday. On the Care Community side of things,
