I feel like my brain is foggy at work and I haven't had a proper nights sleep for five months, on top of the endo I have an inflamed jaw and pain in my ear I am concerned about my hearing, I just feel broken. I know if I was getting proper sleep my brain is much faster. I can't go on like this took maximum number of painkillers and still couldn't sleep last night, I am so fed up and exhausted.

Fed up with not sleeping
Really feel for you with the lack of sleep. Have you seen your GP about the jaw/ ear pain? That might be something they can sort out with antibiotics or you might need more investigation.
Have you also asked them about reviewing your pain meds and maybe trying a different type if your current meds are maxed out and you are not getting enough pain relief to sleep? Also do you have a treatment plan for the endo?
Sorry lots of questions, just trying to think of things you could try. Some pain meds do help you sleep - tramadol does that for me and nerve pain meds like amitryptyline, trouble is I find they have a hangover effect the next day, though you can adjust that a bit with the time you take them in the evening.
After a while if you have insomnia you get tensed up at night not expecting to sleep/ worrying about not sleeping and that makes things worse. Might be worth looking online for things you can do to help relaxation and sleep. But I know if you are in pain it is always hard to sleep, Definitely worth chasing the GP for help.
Hope you get some improvement soon x
I had a review yesterday I forgot to ask about the ear and jaw pain but they are changing my painkillers to ones that help me sleep. It doesn't help that I sit down all day I'm just going to have to be more assertive about my movement breaks as I did ask before I started but they don't seem to take it seriously. Yes I'm on the waiting list for a hysterectomy but my right side is especially bad.
The Dr is writing to the gynaecologist for another appointment . I understand about the brain fog sometimes I space out I know I shouldn't say this with a recession but I don't bloody care about work I just want the pain to go.
That’s good news that you have new meds to try. You might need to experiment with when you take them in the evening to get a good sleep but not be dopey when you need to get up.
Getting outside for a movement break can help wake you up -getting a bit of natural light- could you do that in your lunch break?
Best of luck.
