Head pain

Since August last year I have been experiencing debilitating neck and head pain. I have a permanent head ache on the right hand side which come up and over the top of my head and is so severe it is like I have been hit over the head. This is 24/7. Sleep is done in snatches during the night.

I did receive a prompt medical assessment this week. Based on history and bloodwork GCA has been ruled out. The headache I have is being treated with over the counter analgesics. My doctor is very good, very concerned and I think he is right but it is hard for me not to wonder. I've had some unfortunate

Hi all, I feel a bit silly asking but, I’ve had a painful scalp for the last week. The only way I can describe it is like when you’ve had your hair up for a long time and when you take it down it’s sort of hurts. Does anyone know what I mean? I’ve tried massaging, washing etc but nothing helps. I

I fall asleep at bedtime exhausted usually with a little head pain or none yet at this point, hoping it will go away. I might take a pain medicine depending on how bad it is. But then I wake up in the early morning hours (1 - 3am) with extreme head pain that lasts for 4-6 hours.

Just wondered if anyone has any head pain that could be related to the heart or if it is any other possible reasonings as this is the main issue of concern. Thank you!!

I have head pain .sinus type things going on coughing up.mucus excessively.feeling chilled. Cold fingers. Is this likely to be from dosage not right or will it improve. I have taken the new dosage just over ten days now. And feel terrible. Getting very down.

What’s thus !! base of head aches migraine. Eyes hurt , weak all over and lethargic cannot move about my muscles spasms . Is it a relapse it’s been 3 weeks

Now I have neck and back of my head pain that I cannot live with. It is awful as I cannot turn my head without expteme pain. I don't want to go up as I was beginning to gain weight quickly. at 3mgs per day. Is this neck and head pain due to PMR or something else.

Day 4 and still have sore temples and head pain. Is this normal? Thank you, Catherine

Another week went by and my symptoms got worse again, back/head pain. I was again taken to A&E and stayed there for 36 hours on an xray trolley in a corridor for most of this time. After this, they admitted me to the AMU ward, where regular blood pressure and associated tests were made.

my neurologist has recommended topiramate for my migraines, some of the reviews are awful so I’m wary 🥴 been on beta blockers for many years but my migraines have evolved now I believe after menopause to awful vomiting and front of head pain.. anyone suffered similar ?

I have been taking shot of Prolia and shot of methotrexate every Tuesday.i have no pain but have tender spots on my head and if does not hurt to touch. I only seem to have it in my temple are and top and back of head.. I had a mri of my head a few years ago.

You’ve all given me loads of help in the past, however I am still stuck with PMR or PMR symptoms. I have been on 6mg Pred for ages, last saw Rheumatologist in April, increased methotrexate to 20mg and said he would see me some time in the future. All of this has really made no difference to my symptoms

The artifact wouldn't explain why my heart rate went 37-41 per minute or all the problems I get through, including chest left shoulder, hand, left side neck, head, pain, and pressure, speach, balance, walking difficulties, etc.
