Just the job for stiff and sore joints and muscles
I came across this on Amazon: “Horse Balm” made in Germany, and gave it a go. Rest assured, it is for humans. This really is the vindaloo of balms, exceeding red Tiger Balm and Deep Heat. Use sparingly and wash your hands!!

Hi everyone! This is my first post, so far was silently following the programme until graduation...lost a bit of mojo after but trying to make my running more regular again....and that’s where my little, very painful problem made itself known...I could always find sound advice and encouragement from

Week 1 Run 2 :-))
Week 1 run 2 under the belt. Felt good but left calf is feeling like a slight pull so going to have to watch that. I hope it doesn't get worse. Had a soak and put some deep heat type stuff on. Fingers crossed!

You’re Feeling Old When........
You open your toiletries bag and discover it contains: Hand sanitiser. Deep Heat back patches. Band Aid Plasters. Heel Balm. Soothing Foot Gel. Ibrupofen Gel. Toe Protectors and wipes for your glasses and then you find your laminated parkrun barcodes in four different bags you’ve packed and realise

And Tinky Winky said Uh-Oh!
I’m feeling a little nervous because I haven’t run at all since PR last Saturday, due to a sore back. One of our dogs, sensing changes ( think the suitcases appearing might have been a giveaway) has become a little clingy and wanting extra cuddles and I think having him sitting on my knee on our hard

It’s my two year runniversary today
I staggered home, my face a mixture of lurid red and white, sides heaving,
head
spinning. It was a triumph for me as serious
injuries
to my left leg had brought my running to a halt in my late teens, and it was 50 years before a change in medical opinion meant I was able to start running again.

unable to run since c25k graduation
I did a big push to complete the programme on 10th July with the last 6 runs in 12 days, feeling very positive although not easy, and followed up with 28k and 34k walks on 11 and 13 July. After a couple of rest days, I tried to run again but could only do about 15 minutes before feeling muscles are too

My very first 10-miler!
Hello lovely running fiends 👹 I just realised that it has been a very very long time since I made a post on this site, so I will try not to ramble on too much! I started my HM training in June, in prep for a September half. It's a local one, so not particularly illustrious, but will be a good start

Possible lupus, autoimmune condition or a series of unrelated symptoms?!
Hi all, I know that no one here can diagnose but would be grateful for any thoughts. I’m due to see my gp again Monday and am aware they probably think I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, so I’d appreciate some feedback on whether I should be pushing this or if I just have a lot of unrelated niggles which

Coccydynia and Muscle Spasms in Back - Primary Raynaud's
So a little update, I seen a GP about the pains in my back after my private physiotherapist said to ask for a scan to be done as he thought there was something in the bone by my coccyx. I spoke to the GP and she said a scan was not worthwhile and I was to see a NHS physiotherapist they recommended to

Prepare for a Flare!
I’m not being pessimistic but let’s face it it’s going to happen one day - so why not prepare for a flare? I thought I’d share this - it may help you! On a pain course I went to they told us we should prepare for a flare. They advised we get a nice box and put in it things like: Music, meditation music
