Possible lupus, autoimmune condition or a series of unrelated symptoms?!
Hi all, I know that no one here can diagnose but would be grateful for any thoughts. I’m due to see my gp again Monday and am aware they probably think I’m a bit of a hypochondriac, so I’d appreciate some feedback on whether I should be pushing this or if I just have a lot of unrelated niggles which

Coccydynia and Muscle Spasms in Back - Primary Raynaud's
So a little update, I seen a GP about the pains in my back after my private physiotherapist said to ask for a scan to be done as he thought there was something in the bone by my coccyx. I spoke to the GP and she said a scan was not worthwhile and I was to see a NHS physiotherapist they recommended to

Prepare for a Flare!
I’m not being pessimistic but let’s face it it’s going to happen one day - so why not prepare for a flare? I thought I’d share this - it may help you! On a pain course I went to they told us we should prepare for a flare. They advised we get a nice box and put in it things like: Music, meditation music

Concussion symptom?
Don't have to go into detail it just appears that the correlation for this symptom is recognised with more serious or debilatating
head
injuries
. Yet I had a concussion and pcs and have had this symptom. It began to subside and virtually normalised after taking endep.

Timing
I have split my dose of pred and am wondering what time people take their evening dose? I am presently on 12mg, 9mg am and reducing by 1mg monthly. I do not like the idea of taking it and then going to bed as my Mom passed with esophageal cancer so not a good idea for me. My Reumy does not like me splitting

Deep heat rub
Hi, I have been havingsome success with deep heat herbal rub. Of course I am still on meds and it is only a distraction but I find it so blooming hot it distracts my brain from the RLS sometimes just long enough to get to sleep. I find it works best for me when rubbed on back of the knees and front and

How to sleep like a Premier League footballer
Whilst not about
Head
injuries
, the article has a lot of similarities with the way sportsmen treat sleep and the way because of our injuries we are forced to treat sleep.

Joint pain and neuro referral
Hi folks. My joint pain is getting worse, I've had pains in all joints in and off building for a year now. In the last week my knee is starting to feel a different type of pain. It is usually a sharp shooting pain, but this has changed to an injured constant pain (if that makes sense). Last time I saw

Back ache, hamstring, old age or all 3!
Just completed W7R3, took a while to get into it as haven't run for a week, legs are fine, but just above the backside was aching, any ideas? hamstring perhaps or just plain old age with a bit of Christmas weight thrown in! Either way I don't really want to put deep heat on as I might upset the household

I started wheelchair Globetrotting in 2015, 13 years after sustaining

Head injuries triggering hypothyroidism?
I've just read a post on here regarding
head
injuries
. I've done a search but can only find a few more posts on the topic. I suffered several
head
injuries
in my childhood and teens. I also have bad gut problems ( already on gluten-free and dairy free.) I am secondary (central) hypo.
