back pain and coil

3 months ago i had a laparoscopy and coil fitted. Endo was found and removed. a few days after surgery i started with pain shoulder blade and chest pain. The chest pain went away, but the back pain has been niggling away ever since. Up until the last week or two i have been able to put up with the pain. But it has started to get worse. It use to be an off and on pain that came and went, but now its pretty constant. Yesterday it kept me awake all night and pain killers just wouldn't ease it. I've been to the GP numerous time and just get fobbed off, saying they don't know what it is and to just keep monitoring it !!

Ive tried painkillers, deep heat, ibeprofen gel, physio massage, and currently seeing a chiropractor - i just cant get rid of this shoulder/back pain. Could it be from the coil, even though its more upper back pain??

Anyone had similar got got any ideas

Sounds awful what you've been through I haven't tried the coil as I've always been so worried so can't advise unfortunately but Are you able to speak to an endometriosis nurse or perhaps go to the hospital to get checked out and referred back to Gynae ward? Hope you're feeling better soon xx

Thanks. I managed to speak to my consultant. He was pretty certain it had nothing to do with the coil. I'm coming to the conclusion at some point I've just hurt/damaged my back muscles without realising. Think I'm just going to put up with it till it's healed. X
