Hey there I’ve been doing great at my running consistently 3 times per week and extended one run per week to 10 k, I started some hills the other day walking and jogging a 3 km new well surfaced forest trail, tough but doable kinda ran 200 Mtrs and walked recover and ran again etc

Ran flat route today and after 3 km hip pain probably was niggling going out thought it was just out of bed achiness!!!

Now I’ve hip pain quite sore on my left hip used some brufen today with little effect but deep heat spray has helped any advice I’ve seen foam rolling before just wondering what people’s thoughts are .....

TIA

It could be that if you’re starring hill sprints then you’re starting to use the thigh/glute muscles more than you have so far... most early C25K aches come in the calves, but as we speed up we open the stride more, and then the thighs/glutes feel it a lot more. However if it’s only in the one hip it could be worth getting it checked out.
