All is Well
Hello, Firstly, let me give a sincere, heartfelt "Thank you" to all of you who sent me a private message, or put a comment on one of my posts, asking if I was "okay." What a lovely, caring gesture... thank you! Apparently the isolation and boredom had finally gotten to me... I started believing

Capsicum cream
I’m on holiday down in Cornwall at the moment and nipped in to a Herbery while out searching for King Arthur today (as you do). I was trying to find some cream to help with the pompholyx eczema which has been extremely bad on my foot this year and has left the skin either dry and flaking or red and sore

Face plant & eating dirt
I sit up and check for
injuries
. Firstly I’m covered in soil from
head
to toe on my left side including my face. My cheek is stinging (the one on my face that is!) and I’ve grazed my hand - but everything seems to be intact!

No run today - gutted
I was due to start W8 this morning. It would’ve been my 5th running day in 9 days, which was pushing it a bit for an old fat bloke, but I’ve been ok on the long runs once I curbed my sprint finish from the first one. Unfortunately the muscle pain that first run caused came back during Friday after

Intravenous and intratracheal thyrotropin releasing hormone and its analog taltirelin reverse opioid-induced respiratory depression
All too often we ignore TRH ( thyrotropin releasing hormone) - despite its fundamental role in telling the pituitary to produce TSH. It is left out of so many discussions. This paper is now suggesting that TRH could have a role as a medicine in its own right! If the concepts make sense, perhaps these

Update on family friends wife condition and accident
Doctors have also warned us that when they do eventually bring her out the induced coma she might not wake up because she might be in a natural coma due to her severe
head
injuries
and they have also said that she is still in a critical but stable condition.

Tight calf muscle
Following W2R1 Sunday morning I’ve had quite a tight feeling in my right calf. Came on in the afternoon and I put some deep heat on overnight. Strongest yesterday, eased today. Anything I should do? Keen to avoid an injury and have to stop running.

Symptoms worsening
Hi there, Yesterday my symptoms moved from 2/3 weeks of feeling really cold to a sensation that I had put deep heat all over my arms. It’s been continuous for the last 24 hours. My palpatations are still there but I think I’ve just got more used to them. I think the Amitriplyne that my GP put me on a

Can't touch head to neck
Are there any neck
injuries
where you can't touch the
head
to the neck? Because I have been feeling off all day, I've had the shakes once, but no fever. And I thought I had sprained a shoulder muscle or something because I can't touch my chin to my neck.
