B12 Micro Needle Patch?
I read an article about development of a patch delivery for vaccines. Because I had nothing else to do, I sent and email to one of the companies developing this technology. Here is what I wrote: I just read about your vaccine patch products. I was wondering if patches could be used for medical issues

Repeat blood test after loading dose???
My B12 level was very low <100 and after testing I was diagnosed with pernicious anaemia. A couple of weeks after the loading dose my blood was retested and came back with a B12 level of 2000 - not surprising as I’d had the loading dose. What was worrying is that it came with an added note saying that

How I Manage B12 Sickness (at least some of it)
Hello All - I have been reading this blog for a few months now and have gleaned a great deal of good information - thank you! I have especially been reading the posts from those of you who feel so sick after B12 injections - because I do as well. After my diagnosis of autoimmune atrophic gastritis

NHS national COVID Cancer Antibody Survey
I took the opportunity to partake. I received the test kit yesterday and will do the test today. So far, so good. But when applying you have to say how many jabs you've had: none, one or two. I've had three, so I cannot answer accurately. I answered 'two'. Next question was 'how long ago was that jab

Is folic acid safe?
There are many articles claiming folic acid is not safe since it's not bioavailable to cells and can be root cause of some cancers and the only way cells absorbable form is methyl folate. So my question is now mist of the vitamin products contain folic acid is it safe to take folic acid? Is there any

96.7 MCV blood test bad?
I’ve been tested for liver issues for over a year now which keeps coming back fine. My whole life of lab work has shown MCV at 91-93 which is normal. My last blood work which did not show the metabolic numbers said that my Mcv is now 96.7 and just ever so slightly out of range. I’m freaking out because

Lab results and plan forward
Hello fine people! ✨😍 Deja vu! I feel like I’m having flashbacks. Maybe it is Groundhog Day? Or just an I told you so and now you have wasted one year of my life so I have felt rubbish unnecessarily. ⚠️🆘 So, my Hb wasn’t as low as when I went to donate but it was still clearly in anemic range at 11.7

Folate deficiency - inherited ?
I have folate deficiency anaemia, all the time unless I take folate. Fatigue/exhaustion. My grandad had pernicious anaemia and thyroid bless him. I wonder if it’s related… I also have thyroid disorder.

Advice on Iron Supplements Please
My GP has agreed that I should have a blood test to check my iron levels but in the meantime has suggested that I should take an iron supplement 2-3 times a day. Based on previous advice seen on this forum, this seems excessive so I am thinking that I will just take gentle iron once a day as shown on
