There are many articles claiming folic acid is not safe since it's not bioavailable to cells and can be root cause of some cancers and the only way cells absorbable form is methyl folate. So my question is now mist of the vitamin products contain folic acid is it safe to take folic acid? Is there any just methyl folate containing multivitamin or b complex out there to buy?

Is folic acid safe?
Folic acid is certainly safe, as long as you do not overdose on it I have taken a 400mcg tablet daily for 6 years . No problems . It is certainly absorbed . If you prefer to take Methylfolate in your multivitamin , it’s obtainable on Amazon . I have never heard of heard that folic acid can cause cancer and that it cannot be absorbed . .
I think it is safe too. Pregnant woman are advised to take it !
Try eating more greens or dietary folate if you concerned?
Thorne basic B is recommended on the thyroid forum as containing the most bio-available ingredients.

Cancer/Folic acid? Just googled, and it looks like too much or too little is not healthy. I agree with wedgewood that 400mcg daily is a good idea if you have been deficient.
