Timing of medication when abroad
In just over a week’s time I shall be going to New Zealand for six weeks and I’m wondering how to manage my medication as the time difference when I’m there is 13 hours. t the moment, I take Bisoprolol in the morning along with Indapamide and Apixaban, and then Losartan and another Apixaban in the evening

muscle and joint pain
Is muscle and joint pain after a month of starting acalabrutinib the cause of the acalabrutinib side effect or is it still the result of your body getting rid of white blood calls and causing higher uric acid causing gout in your muscles and joints?

Anybody Know Anything About "Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide" (NAD+) Supplement?
Somebody told me they were taking NAD+. I was surprised you could even by NAD+. I thought everybody took NAD precursors (NA, NR) but I see Amazon sells NAD+ https://www.amazon.com/Liposomal-Supplement-Absorption-Nicotinamide-Alternative/dp/B09V6X1PWM?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&smid

Understanding BMB
Hi, Reading other members' interpretations of their BMB reports has led me to look at mine more closely, and would value your input. I had my second one over a year ago and was told like my first one everything was fine - no fibrosis. I have PV and take Rux. I didn't question it. However, In the Trephine

BMB in Two Days
I have my bmb scheduled for two days from now. My anxiety is "through the roof". I believe my hematologist originally thought I have ET. I am Calr 1 positive. However, her notes after the last visit state that the results of my bloodwork/tests are "consistent with an MPN, either ET or pre-pmf. Overt

Great Paper that explains all the NAD+ Precursors
Want to know the differences and details of all of the NAD+ precursors? Trp (Tryptophan), NA (Nicotinic Acid), NAM (Nicotinamide), and NR (Nicotinamide Riboside)? They are surprisingly different: Balancing NAD+ deficits with nicotinamide riboside: therapeutic possibilities and limitations 2022 https

NMDA and AMPA are both synthesized chemicals that activate glutamate receptors, they incite glutamate excitotoxicity
This begs the question - if these are not naturally occurring substances in our body - how the hell did they get into our brains? And what can we do about it? NMDA is not an endogenous (native) substance. It's not found in our body tissue but rather synthesized as an excitotoxin for research into NMDA

How can I manage persistent AF
I am in UK and have had paroxysmal AF for a few years and was prescribed Flecainide and Bisoprolol but also had a Pacemaker fitted in July 2020 because of a low resting heart rate (normally 50 but loop recorder showed some drop to mid 30s overnight). Any periods of AF I’ve had up to now have been 5/

Modified Citrus Pectin
This sure does not boost my confidence in MCP. Doesnt really give any specifics, just a general, "it is better than nothing, but not by much"? Again, any insight would help. Modified citrus pectin (MCP) increases the prostate-specific antigen doubling time in men with prostate cancer: a phase II pilot
