Been taking Acalabrutinib for three weeks (along with Allopurinol and anti viral and anti bacterial). Second line treatment after cll relapse. Almost no side effects except for........
I'm getting frequent and long-lasting burning sensations in both feet. Feels like my feet are too close to a heat source. Not painful but uncomfortable and distracting.
I notice "feelings of warmth or heat" are listed as a known but rare side effect of Allopurinol.
Anybody else experienced that symptom? Is it transient?

Sorry it took so long to answer your question. Allopurinol did a great job keeping my uric acid levels down and I didn't get any side effects when I started using it, but after my doctor lowered the strength, which was made by a different manufacturer, I began having side effects, that caused my heart to pound hard, and beat faster. I threw those pills in the trash and purchased the ones from the first manufacturer at the lower strength. Not all generic pills are the same.
