Switching from Eliquis to a one a day 325mg Aspirin
Hi guys, just curious, Has anybody been on Eliquis and then changed to one aspirin 325 mg a day instead? I was diagnosed with Afib in 2018 but have maybe one episode a year so my Dr. told me to switch from Eliquis to one 325mg aspirin a day. I am concerned that the aspirin won’t thin my blood enough

KT/V Test
I recently took Another KT/V and it came back below passing… with that being said I’m set to retake it again next week and if I don’t get a passing number on this next one then they will put me back on Hemodialysis which I feel will be a death sentence because I went to PD because the staff that worked

Xylitol for teeth
Whilst Xylitol may be equivalent to Mannitol for increasing butyrate, I would like to commend it for its ability to fight tooth decay. Of course you can chew gum containing Xylitol, but it is not recommended if you have mercury amalgam fillings. Just dissolve half a teaspoon round your mouth after each

Venetoclax and tiredness
Hi, I'm on week four of the ramp up. My bloods are good but since I've upped the dosage to 200mg I've noticed an increase in drowsiness. I nearly always fall asleep about an hour after taking the dose of Venetoclax and allopurinol. I'm so disappointed as the whole reason I'm being treated is because

Tophaceous Gout and CLL Drugs
I have had CLL for nine years and have been in nearly constant treatment except for about 30 months in the 2016-2018 time frame. In the past several month I have had problems with suspect masses growing in each of my feet between the toes, but not on the joints. After x-rays, MRIs and PET Scans,

Split T3 dose effectively
Does anybody know how to effectively split a T3 dose? It is really cumbersome to split some tablets, as they crumble and don't divide easily. I'm currently grinding the T3 tablet into a fine powder and then mix it thoroughly with magnesium glycinate powder. I then form a line of powder which i separate

Should FISH test be repeated?
Does anyone know if the FISH test is repeated for people with stage zero CLL? I had the test when I was first diagnosed in December 2017, and assume it hasn’t been repeated because my office exam with my hematologist this month didn’t reveal swollen lymph nodes or enlarged spleen.

Is this progression normal
My husband, diagnosed 2015, is really struggling. He feels rough all the time. Main symptoms are shuffling, stoop (causing back ache), balance, slowness and lack of energy so exercise is very limited. On Sinemet 3 hourly, Rasagiline 1mg and Madopar 62.5 daily + Neupro patch 4mg. Nothing new seems to

Tikosyn and Eliquis Problems
I woke up with bradycardia on November 2, 2020 and had a pace maker put in same day. I developed afib 2 wks later, apparently from one of the wires being screwed in too far and puncturing my pericardium. On December 11, 2020 I had a cryro ablation. Then January 5, 2021 I had to go to the hospital as
