Diarrhoea caused by Colchicine after ablation
Hi I have recently had a surgical ablation. Since my procedure I have been taking Colchicine which causes a quite severe diarrhoea to me. Has anyone had a similar experience after an ablation and can anyone suggest something to stop it? Thank a lot for all your suggestions and thoughts. x

For those of you who elected HDBT + EBRT + ADT as your primary treatment, did you experience any pain in you butt cheeks months after your treatment? It has been 6 months since I finished my EBRT, which or course, followed my HDBT. Lately, I have been experiencing discomfort in my butt cheeks. It is

NSAID's (like Ibuprofen) with Apixaban
Hi I have been on Apixaban for some years, following Persistent AF, now resolved after an ablation in 2020. Like all senior citizens I get bouts of muscle pain. Ibuprofen is not recommended because of the risk of intestinal bleeding, though I have taken it for short periods and it works really well

ET , Jak2 positive.
Having being diagnosed with ET last August, I have been on aspirin only until my haematologist said that with platelets rising to 540 I should start hydroxycarbamide 500mg daily. I was also prescribed Allopurinol, 300mg daily. Has anyone else been prescribed Allopurinol? In the last few days I have

Nosebleeds and Apixaban
Some years ago I had occasional nose bleeds, usually in the winter and made worse by going into dry atmosphere and from one nostril only. Starting Saturday 6th May I had 5 quite heavy ones, including clots. I managed to see an actual doctor yesterday who diagnosed an infection so prescribed Naseptin cream

Low platelets
I have just had my blood results and my platelets are low at 116 (normal 140 -400). My GP doesn't seem to be over concerned and asked for the count to be rechecked in a month's time. I am on apixaban 5mg twice daily and also Famotidine. My GP has said that apixaban can cause low platelets and I also

Best place to buy Adenosylcobalamin for injection UK
Does anyone know the best place to buy Adenosylcobalamin for injection in the UK or Germany? I am currently giving my husband, who has early stage PD, injections of Hydroxycobalamin and he's taking folate as well as other B vits. He's been having the injections alternate days for a couple of months

how to lower uric acid without medicine?
Hi all! anybody have tips on how to naturally lower uric acid? Mine went up to 7.9. My Doctor wanted to give me alopurinol but I told him I'd try to do it naturally. He said to try for 3 months and come back for another blood test. So I have cut down on fruit and almost all sugar. I am also drinking
