Thank you gentlemen for all the information shared on this site. I had a PSMA scan in Dec which revealed recurrent disease in the prostate and three lymph nodes, all very small. I am almost complete the three cycles of Provenge. I saw a RO yesterday to see his treatment options. He is recommending waiting 3-4 months to see Provenge effectiveness then doing two cycles one week a part of HDR, did not want to discuss anything else except possible LDR ( low dose seed implant). Any body have any experience with HDR to treat recurrent disease? Are there better options that you have experience with? SBRT? I appreciate any comments Thanks Brad

You won't see Provenge effectiveness. The only way we know Provenge works is one lives longer. It may be a good idea to have the salvage HDR-BT sooner rather than waiting, so that you can take advantage of the abscopal effect. You still have to have external beam radiation on your pelvic lymph nodes.
Thank you Tall Allen. I always respect your comments. I understand your comments, any idea why he wants to wait? He didn't answer that question for me or why he wouldn't do SBRT which I thought would be more accurate.
