To go private or not to go private....
Hi ladies, I need to make some important decisions and I cannot get my head round that. I had 8 unsuccessful cycles of Clomid. Now 3 cycles of Gonal-F in which I nicely ovulated but no pregnancy. We are mentally prepared for IVF and happy to go private in the NHS waiting time. The problem is that in

I've not suffered with any constipation and have been very careful with what I've eaten. On the 4th morning away following a bowel

Vitamin Deficiencies and Peripheral Neuropathy
Hi there! I feel like collapsing writing this. I'm 18 years old. Initially I was on a diet plan to reduce my weight. Then after one month I had pain in my lower spine region but i didn't cared much.. I jogged daily. After some days, the pain was unbearable and I had to leave all these. On 16th January

Hi all Some of you may have read my last post where I said basically I have just found out there is a risk of Huntington’s disease in my family (a rare generic condition). I have just started a cycle of ICSI so my fridge is stocked up with Gonal F and ovitrelle plus menopur, cyclogest and Buserelin

Acute Morphine Treatments Alleviate Tremor
Morphine can be endogenously synthesized and can increase DA firing rate through disinhibition. In addition, upregulation of neuronal endogenous morphine-like compound immunoreactivity was found in human PD. These facts suggest morphine may have potential therapeutic relevance in PD treatment as dopaminergic

Short Flare protocol- just one scan scheduled for 6/7 days after taking gonal f injections-enough???
Hi all :) As above just one scan with view to collection 4/5 days later. Shouldn't there be more scans? Perhaps sooner to guage my bodys reaction? I have very low amh and on gonal f 350 mg injections. What if i'm over/under reacting and they miss it causing cycle to be a disaster? We paid a lot for this

Hypo and eyes
Good morning All Have just been to Moorfields eye hospital. They have identified new blood vessels in the iris - rubeosis iridis. Has anyone else developed this? There wasn’t much explanation of possible outcomes or treatment, just said they needed to monitor and would see me again in 4-6 weeks. The

Anyone else have hoarseness and/or GORD with B12 neuropathy? Vagal nerve problems?
Around the same time my peripheral neuropathy started I developed a weakness in my voice and also reflux which I never had before. I was wondering if any of you have had the same problems? Strangely my right side improved with about 2 weeks of treatment, but my left side started to worsen after that

1st 3weeks on B1
Sorry Roy I'm sure I'm supposed to post this on Facebook I just don't use it. I'm very happy to report that the use of B1 has been very good for me I only wish I started earlier. I'm in my 11th year 7 years since diagnosis. Dr.C recommended one gram a day for two weeks and increase if all is well. Yesterday

Tramadol, Lyrica, etc
Appointment with GP last Thursday. Husband in terrible shape that day which was good for the doctor to actually SEE in person. Falling asleep at 4 PM in the room, couldn't focus well. Coming off the Ropinerole (augmentation) and 24/7 RLS for days. She prescribed Lyrica. He took it for three nights
