1st scan to see how i'm responding.
First scan in Belfast tomorrow to see how my overies are responding to the gonal f injections. So nervous...desperately need to have an odds defying response to the meds despite my very low amh and age 38. Anyone else had good responses despite low amh? This is my first ever ivf and will be the first

Why is this necessary?
Diagnosed GCA, on Pred , however Consultant has recommended an Endoscopy and Colonoscopy. I do not have any symptoms and feel bad enough, so I declined?

MGUS
Hi just wondering if anyone else here as a diagnosis of MGUS, as been reading it can be common among people with underactive thyroid. Any information would be appreciated. Also have nerve damage but specialist doesn't think it's connected. Thanks in advance.

Hot Flushes increasing
I reduced my prednisolone from 10mg to 9mg at the beginning of February and just about coping with the soreness but have noticed an increase in facial hot flushes and night sweats. Has anyone else felt these side effects have got worse as you reduce?

legs ache 24/7 after 6 years shots
I had very low B12 6 years ago, to the point that I had muscle wasting in my calves. I found a doc who prescribed weekly shots and my legs came back with muscle and my damaged nerves that were not dead, woke up with electrical shocks for about the first year. Now I have a constant ache in my calves

Neuropathy and Sjogren's
Hello, I'm new here. I struggle with very painful widespread small fibre neuropathy related to Sjogren's. Nights are the worst with burning, clawing pain and electric shock sensations. I take pregabalin and codeine for the pain. I feel very alone. Is anyone out there dealing with similar issues? Katerina1

Is B12 261 pmol/L while doing SI OK?
I was diagnosed low B12 last year Jan (68 pmol/L; adequacy >221). Symptoms = tiredness, peripheral neuropathy. Started SI and over the year the symptoms got better (it took until around November to feel 100% myself again). I tested again in Jan19 with result 261 pmol/L (adequacy >221), having last done

A standard muscle consists of many fibres. These fibres have contractile units known as sarcomeres. Muscle fibres are composed of many sarcomere units. The length of the sarcomeres dictates the overall length of a muscle fibre. There is a relationship between the length of a sarcomere and the force

Not a bad appointment
I attend my rheumy appointment today and it went quite well. She’s put me back on my leflunomide and 2 weekly blood monitoring. If my liver goes up again she’ll send me for a scan to have a look. She’s going to push my physio referral again as I’m still waiting. She’s given me nifedipine to try and

Neuropathy and MGUS
Hi all I was diagnosed with neuropathy over a year ago although they couldn't find what is causing the problem. From one of the blood tests it was discovered I have MGUS. Haematologist doesn't think it is connected but I'm wondering if anyone else has this. Thanks for any help in advance.
