We have had a review appointment following a failure double transfer but poor fertilisation rates with ICSI. Just wondering if anyone here has had this added to a round? It’s likely to be our final round given that it’s self funded and the stress of it all! Looking for some good stories 🤞🏻

We’ve had it added after two failed rounds…. But we haven’t actually done the third round yet! It's been a year, I should probably get on that. Our rounds both failed at the next hurdle, we had really good fertilisation rates, but no blastocyst.

we’ve just had it added to our round, we will have news soon. Our first cycle we had one blast after four eggs collected. Second we had 7 egg, 3 fertilised and 0 to blast stage. That’s why for the third the doctor suggested calcium ionophor. We decided to go with it after reading the research because of the results of the second round. I’ll let you know the outcome of this round in a few days when we know more 🤞🏽
Hope it goes well for you xx
hi Newcastle - it worked really well for us, we went from 1 fertilised first round, 0 second to 11 third. sadly egg quality is my issue but it still really helped us get to blast as we managed to freeze 5 🙂 although they were abnormal 😓 lots of luck x
Sorry they are abnormal very frustrating for you xx
