How do I Get Out of My Own Way
A little while ago I wrote a post about how excited I was that I finally quit my job, and I was excited to get my life back on track. Unfortunately I think I took on too much at a time: I quit, started looking for jobs, and intense counselling all within a few days. The result: I have completely shut

Husband and I both loathe me?
My husband and I were married for 16 years and got divorced-the last time we were intimate was in 2013 There was almost infidelity on my part, my husband was verbally and emotionally abusive (not as a result of my actions). Then we went and remarried in 2017 because I had no insurance and he agreed to

Zytiga ineffective after 12 months
Zytiga is no longer effective, was 1st diagnoses in Nov 2018 with widespread Mets, 9-10 Gleason, and PSA above 1200. I realistically expected to see 10-18 months benefit from the chemo which is what I got. Initially tried docetaxel but had complications. What are the suggestions for my next line of treatment

Coronavirus Preventative Guidelines-revised
Hi Friends-I want to share preventative guidelines of Covid 19 virus from Centers of Disease Control and National MS Society. I take Tecfidera for MS and this treatment suppresses my immune system and lowers white blood cells, as DMT’s do. I’m considered more at risk of infection than the average person

Light Interview
Dear Ladies. I have been to light Sheffield today to offer my services. They said they don’t want me to do peer support work at the moment, whilst I am getting counselling myself. She has asked me whether I want to become an ambassador and do some admin work for them. I have taken all my qualifications

Prostate Cancer Genetic Testing
All prostate cancer does not behave the same. This can make deciding on a treatment plan difficult. Prostate cancer aggressiveness tests observe the biopsy cancer tissue on a molecular level to answer the patient’s most pressing questions like: How aggressive is my disease? Is my disease going to spread

Depression
Hi all! I know depression is very common with fibro. I’ve recently realised I’m depressed again, and have been getting worse since July. It took me ages to realise because with previous depression I’ve been suicidal and I’m nowhere near that this time. I’m just miserable all the time, I’ve got no enthusiasm

Dilemma about visiting elderly mother in hospital 😪
Hi everyone, I hope everyone is keeping well. Can I ask your advice/opinions please. I have moderate/severe copd. My mother (79) got taken into hospital last night after being found on the floor of her flat, naked, freezing and with a shattered hip. She had been there all night and all the next day.

2 Viable Embryos to Transfer - to transfer 1 or 2?
Hi Everyone - long time reader, first time poster! Last month my husband and I traveled from NYC to Madrid to have our eggs retrieved. We ended up having 11 retrieved, 5 to blastocyst and after genetic testing, 2 are approved and ready for transfer! My clinic in Madrid is open to transferring 2, however

Post traumatic anxiety years after PP, nearly 3 years ago
Has anyone else suffered post traumatic stress related anxiety, even several years after PP from the trauma it caused you? I find that it doesn't trouble me now, most of the time but then something will trigger a traumatic memory and I suffer with insomnia for a few days. I have booked some counselling
