Stretta procedure
I am new to this forum and was diagnosed with hiatus hernia, gastritis and acid reflux following a
gastroscopy
. I've also had manonetry and PH tests and barium swallow. Tomorrow I have a Stretta procedure and would be grateful if anyone can tell me about what happens afterwards.

Why have I now got anemia?
He has arranged a
gastroscopy
and will contact the haematologist to ask why she doesn't think the anemia is PV related. He also checked my spleen which was 'noticeable'.

I'm new here and would welcome any comments regarding my results and the treatment plan suggested by my GP
I have been diagnosed with GORD and oesophagitis, and am currently taking a double dose (2x30mg) of Lansoprazole daily, with the aim of healing the inflammation found in my oesophagus during a recent
gastroscopy
procedure. - What I'm assuming is what people refer to as "brain fog".

Should I increase Pred. dose for minor procedure in Hospital?
Going for
gastroscopy
&colonoscopy and have been on Prednisolone for 7 years now. Actually got down to 1mg last year, but had 3 major flares in quick succession after TKR in July 2016 and increased up to 25 mg. Very slow reduction now on 9.5mg daily.

Is this the same as an endoscopy?? Was told mine won't be till August. Had lots of bloods done again! And then they brought it forward to may. Not sure if there is a reason for this but at least I don't have to wait too long now. X

Reflux, oesophagitis and nissen fundoplication surgery
A
gastroscopy
three months ago showed Grade C oesophagitis, 6cm sliding hiatus hernia and diverticulosis. I have taken Lanzoprazole (one or two 15mg daily) for about 10 years. Following gall bladder removal last year I also have bouts of bile reflux.

I will also be having a
Gastroscopy
& colonoscopy in 2 weeks. I'm hoping it isn't Coeliacs, don't see how that will fix the deficiencies & neurological symptoms I have and I really don't want to have to go gluten free!

9 Months post Ivor Lewis - possible recurrence
Had a
gastroscopy
on 13th March. They found a nodule on the oesophagus and there is a great deal of inflammation. Biopsy came back no cancer. However a subsequent CT scan last Tuesday has shown a thickening of the oesophagus and two enlarged adjacent lymph nodes.

Post-op DIlation
He has advised that I come in Tuesday as his minor surgical procedure so they can perform a
gastroscopy
and possible balloon dilation at the top of my join. I was told some time back that should a stricture or scar tissue form around the join it would require a stretch?
