Hi please can anyone help
Have had a
Gastroscopy
and don't have acid reflux the
Gastroscopy
did show that I have Oesophageal candidiases. Wondering if this could be the reason for the nausea. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Gastroscopy Advice
Hey guys/girls I'm having a
Gastroscopy
tomorrow at 11.30 @ QEBH I'm so so anxious, I emailed my specialist requesting to be put under general Anaesthetic but due to the time frame it was denied. So I was going to chicken out, but decided to go ahead despite my extreme anxiety.

Help? What help?
Since a diagnosis of cirrhosis a couple of months ago, I've had an ultrasound scan, a CT scan and a
gastroscopy
. I've had no advice re current medications (even though a couple of my long term meds indicate possible incompatibility with my liver) and no dietary advice.

It's just much worse than it was, the
gastroscopy
is vital to reveal what is going on, & thankfully !! The general anaesthetic will give me an induced well deserved sleep.

Hello again.
Update after having
Gastroscopy
yesterday. No evidence of cancer biopsies taken to rule out H.plyori, no sign of reflux, but it did show up Oesophageal candidiases I have been prescribed Fluconazole for1 week. Does anyone have experience of this condition, and how quickly it will clear.

Cirrhosis question
He told me I had cirrhosis, I should have been called in previously and needed further blood tests Hep C & B, some kind of liver data test and a
Gastroscopy
. The latter is booked for 7 August.

Problems after gastroscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy
I recently had a

Barretts Esophagus and Thyroid problems.
Prior to my
Gastroscopy
I had occasional heartburn, no reflux and felt well. My BE
gastroscopy
was ?1cm Barretts with no sign of anything else, linked to stress which was over-riding factor. I feel my life has changed big time and not confident my meds or my problem are being managed correctly.

Do I have Pernicious Anaemia or not, conflicting results confusing Drs
GP said he wanted me to see a Gastro Consultant for further information, and also took a second PCA blood test which was again positive ( lab said no need to re-test IFA ) Outcome of Gastro visits was a
Gastroscopy
which showed Chronic Gastric Atrophy but no other issues on camera.

Update on my gastroenterologist results
Have had my
Gastroscopy
and Colonoscopy and pleased to say all the results from the biopsies came back clear. No coeliac or other bowel disorders, no polyps, just a few ulcers in the colon due to taking anti inflammatory for my back problem.

Sudden surgery - terrified
Eventually, I managed to get her to agree to send me for a
gastroscopy
and colonoscopy, which I had last week. The scopes showed up gastritis and some harmless polyps, but an ultrasound showed a large 14 x 14 cm tumour on my ovary.

Colonoscopy prep - any tips?
I am scheduled for a
gastroscopy
and colonoscopy this Friday. I have been given 2 bottles of Fleet soda-phosphate. I have had it before and it is completely foul and makes me gag. Any tips on what to mix it with?

Fibroids after hysterectomy?
I am due to have a colonoscopy and
gastroscopy
on Friday, and yesterday I had a routine ultrasound to prepare for the scopes. The big surprise was the ultrasound technician telling me I had a large uterus full of fibroids.

Stretta procedure
I am new to this forum and was diagnosed with hiatus hernia, gastritis and acid reflux following a
gastroscopy
. I've also had manonetry and PH tests and barium swallow. Tomorrow I have a Stretta procedure and would be grateful if anyone can tell me about what happens afterwards.

Why have I now got anemia?
He has arranged a
gastroscopy
and will contact the haematologist to ask why she doesn't think the anemia is PV related. He also checked my spleen which was 'noticeable'.
