Gastroscopy/Colonoscopy - Sedation or local anaesthetic spray?
I have finally received a letter to have a
gastroscopy
and colonoscopy on the 27th of February. I must say I am excited (to maybe get a diagnosis) but at the same time nervous about the actual diagnosis and the actual procedure.

Gastroscopy/Endoscopy
Well after many tests and still no results the doctor has scheduled a
Gastroscopy
and a Colonoscopy exam next week. To see if I have...IBS ..Crohn's....or Colon Cancer..I pray it's just IBS.

Sertraline for anxiety?
I originally went to the doctor for advice on what other tests I can have done for my stomach (already had thyroid blood tests and
gastroscopy
) but she said it doesn't sound like a physical stomach or bowel issue, it sounds like anxiety as all my tests have come back clear.

My Endo Story
So they sent me for a
Gastroscopy
and ultra-sound to evaluate the severity of my alleged IBS and other potential stomach problems. And suprise - they found no polyps, no stomach ulcers - no signs of muscle weakness or IBS.

GP Review
It was very thorough and looked at the scans and
gastroscopy
I had in June. Both were clear. I mentioned my breathing was occasionally difficult when sitting down but no problems when out walking. She demonstrated how my stomach was now much higher and that when sitting it was pushed up a little.

My 3 ways of controlling RLS
The test came up negative, so I asked for a referral to get a
gastroscopy
done. Since its new years break right now, the hospital that does it is closed until tomorrow, so I can't make a booking until then. I will let you know when I get the procedure done and the results that come about it.

Gastro Issues, fatigue, Vitamins Low
I was thinking about stomach acid but surely
gastroscopy
would have ruled this out and surely it would not have given me so much fatigue? I appreciate any help. Thanks Aaron

Worst 2 months of my life... How did this happen? Where did this anxiety come from?
Colonoscopy,
gastroscopy
and ultrasound of the abdomen. Every minute of every day of waiting was true hell for me. So many different symptoms were occurring... Pacing heart, nausea, pressure in abdomen, headaches, diarrhea, fatigue, warm face and neck, hands cold or sweaty, etc.

Fed up
He is due to go in for a
gastroscopy
and banding tomorrow. Not sure what banding means as we didn't know he was having it done. Only found out when I rang to see if I could change his appointment. I find some of the process in liver cirrhosis very complicated and bewildering. Am I the only one?

PPI'S - Another new study finds further concern for caution regarding possible adverse side effects.
For the current study, the researchers used nationwide Danish registries to identify all individuals older than age 30 years who had elective
gastroscopy
between 1997 and 2012. Patients with prior cardiovascular disease at baseline were excluded.

Reactive Gastritis?
Also, can a colonoscopy /
gastroscopy
definitely rule out all absorption issues and pernicious anaemia? Thanks.

Just had lap
I explained this was op no 4 for me, as I had a
gastroscopy
, colonoscopy and a cystoscopy plus lap in under a year. He said that I could be a candidate for a hysterectomy and I may have adenomyosis! So I had the lap, I think I saw the surgeon just had I was coming out of GA.
